Walker was far and away the best offensive player on the field.
Sure the defence was outstanding and won the game but it would have been difficult to say which Seattle player stood out from the others

Exactly. Just a pity Walker's 'try' needed to be called back. Look at the defensive stats and it's clear everyone played a part. Even Michael Dickson made a tackle, and wasn't his tactical punting just marvellous to watch.

Just to put HG's continuing if unsuccessful attempt at trolling into its correct context, what I did say about baseball was that:

I don't understand what JJ is trying to argue, its axiomatic that the NFL champions are also the best team in the world for the current year, so what harm do they do by calling themselves this? Maybe we could organise for Seattle to play whoever is regarded as the best team in Australia just to confirm it for JJ.

Of course its the same with the AFL.
As for the CFL, having the Grey Cup winners play off against the Lombardi winners just so JJ acknowledges they are the best team in the world would be pointless, the NFL side would win by panels using their 3rd stringers. Players who go undrafted and can't make NFL squads are winning the Most Outstanding Player award up there. It might be cringey but its hard to dispute the claim.
