Thank YOU dizzy, furious and Afros! Surely this has been one of our most enjoyable comps ever Hug

Congratulations again to Vincent - the benchmark of the winners!

Big congrats to Freefall for taking out the roughies - what a debut! Shame we can’t have two winners, because Gay deserves it too.

Special mention to the Group of Death - we did good LOL

Thanks to the 3 legends who ran the comps. A lot of work and really appreciated.

Vincent? I think I need to ask if you’ll go on a retainer 👏👏

Gay, I lucked out on one big $$$ race in the roughies.

Well done today PT - hope you backed it!

Absolutely reiterate your 1st line Freefall & yes, those huge $$$ races count for all really in comps run by Dizzy & Afros Thumbs Up WA let me down with 3 x 4ths at decent odds but them's the chances you take - or don't LOL

I might add a heartfelt thanks to all who join in the fun.  Without you there wouldn't a comp either!  Hope to see you all back for the Autumn.

If not for the comps I might have passed over a few of the racedays. Glad you all kept me focussed.

Not quite square on the punting front though 😀😀

If not for these comps, I’d have no friends on race days! Embarrassed

Freefall, that’s rather depressing re. your punting account when you’ve got nearly $300 mill in play money LOL

Congrats to Gay for taking out the SP comp and Plate - well-deserved winner!

And horlicks for winning the inaugural Spring Cup!

(No idea how I ended up with the consolation Bowl, especially against the wise and worthy Marble, but I’ll take it - thanks Afros for all the effort you put into it Beer)

Yes a lot of hard work there Afros.  The right girl won the plate.  I'm hopeless with long shots!  And this is more fun with this group.

Horlicks and Vincent you'd expect: they featured big time in the Autumn comp.  Or even Brave Ponies.

But c'mon now: Gay, Freefall and Take2??  Half a chance they shared the same pin and blindfold imo.  Shocked  Wink

This post from the Autumn '24 comp. is quite revealing. I should've been at least 1000/1 plus a boost LOL

Take2 has in fact been very consistent this year, judging by the above post Clap

Basically, the Cup was for those who finished top 3 in their groups, the plate was for 4th and 5th in their groups as well as those defeated in the 2nd round of the Cup, the Bowl was for those beaten in the 1/4 finals of the Cup, to give them a consolation chance, plus it kept more people alive in something for longer!

Appreciate the thanks as well everyone, I do enjoy doing it and making my own little contribution to this community! Glad to see that others have enjoyed it also!

Gay, perhaps just like how Shamrocker was an autumn horse, you are a spring horse?
