To my eye initially I thought the Timeform rating was around 120 or 121. In my opinion I think 124 is a bit high but it is what it is and we move on.

Do not throw those Cox Plate tickets away as this race is know as a graveyard for favorites.

Remember, it might take intelligence to be smart , but it takes experience to be wise

Cox Plate is usually ran after 5pm, not ideal although the surface is more forgiving.

Zaaki probably needs a soft run and then into a sprint home in the Cox Plate.

Now that he's racing top grade horses at their peak he doesn't have much on them.

If Incentivise trots in the CC next week as expected, I would love to see him take on Zaaki in the Cox Plate on the back-up.

It's more the small break he had and big runs in Queensland may be catching up with him.

Gee you're a negative dribbler Jamal. The horse suffers his first defeat since the Doncaster and you rush strait on here to gleefully tell everyone how bad the horse is.

As we all know this race can be a graveyard for well fancied horses, the two previous editions have seen Russian Camelot rolled over at odds on and Avilius at evens, Probabeel is a classy mare in her own right and now a 4 time G1 winner, I wouldn't write Zaaki off for the Cox Plate just yet.

As posted earlier have backed VE in the Cox Plate.

However have now obtained $3 about Zaaki as my saver which suits me just fine. Given a decent barrier am almost certain he'll lead at a decent clip throughout.

Zaaki has joint problems.

They will be hoping for down pours for future racing.
