I'm old enough to not be sure exactly what woke entails.  I prefer to be called Mrs not Ms.  I've six children - call me old fashioned.  I don't mind welcome to country but wish they would get it right as sometimes they use the wrong Aborigine clan title for the area they are in.  And probably that's not their fault either as there were so many even just around the Sydney basin.  I don't mind women's sport - been watching since all my girls were young and still out at netball most weekends through winter.  

Don't like football male or female but think our womens cricket team are pretty special.  The girl jockeys don't do too bad also.  And when reporting the results we no longer put ms in front of their names.  That is unless they have the same initial as a boy jockey which mean either full name or Ms back on.  Mind you I still think of Gai Waterhouse as a Mrs.  She had to fight for her right to train but stayed loyal to her husband also.

At church you find most of the readings are about men or to men but they try to by pass that these days.  It is a different world to that of 2000 years ago.  But then again you get bad and good on both sides.  I think it's how you live your life not how you talk about life.

Typical good ole boys, as you say.  A state well known for racism and the Klan.  Trying to think of that aweful govenor thay had back when the rules changed so black folks wernt forced to ride at the back of the bus. Wallace  maybe ?
