She'd want to beat that field by 10 lengths to get anywhere near a race like the QE

I think she wins this with ease and goes 16 days into the 3200m Sandown Cup.

It's axiomatic that she'd need to win well to back up in the QE TJ.

However that said, given your current employment am quite sure you're aware that recent winners of the race have been (a) fresh into the race without a testing Spring behind them, and (b) fairly ordinary conveyances that could get a strong 2600.  Others could examine the post-QE records of True Self, Jaameh and Vengeur Masque and form their own opinion.

But still think they'll be thinking the Sandown meeting.  Or a 2400m plus BM64 if she goes ordinary tomorrow night.  Cry

I just can't see her getting anywhere near a stakes race. Beat goats in her maiden and that St Leger form so far looks a dumpster fire.

If she wants to even be competitive at the Sandown meeting she would want to put that field to the sword tomorrow.

Between the 14 runners there as only been 28 starts since the Leger and the vast majority of those starts have been in unsuitable races.

I think there is one win in amongst them and that was over 1400m plus a group 1 placing.

I'll see how she runs tomorrow. Win by at least 5 and I might be swayed.

Monumentally disappointing. Back to 64 grade for her.

Just one-paced.  Sandown Cup imo, because as a Stakes-place-getter there's no longer any real down-line advantage competing in restricted races during this prep.

I thought she stuck on ok tonight.

Maybe not ready for any Listed races this time in, but she’s only a Spring 4yo so has plenty of maturing to do.

Still think she might win a nice race down the track.  Who knows, she could be the next Regina Coeli.

Accepted for a BM78 at Ballarat on Sat over 2600m.  Craig Williams takes the mount.

I was almost certain this was going to be an update on her gelding operation.

I think she was Willowed.

Caught napping and then crowded. Willow at his brilliant best.

Ride was strange.

Went up towards the front early. Why? Di not go to the lead. Stayed in in 3rd and 4th. And the moves started to come and she was one paced and over taken. Coming in the straight she had just too much to catch up yet of all the finishers she plugged on and finished 4th. Other horses would of folded and finished near the tail.

Not even talking about today specifically. Just not that good in general. Trial her over some jumps

Over rated and under priced for the race. D Moor did a lot worse than Willo on Brilliant Venture for mine. J Allen on the second horse also let the winner go past him and took too long to get serious ( yes I backed it e/w ).

She got shuffled back at just the wrong time, but didn’t really pick up in the straight & just plugged away.

Still think theres a 3000m MV race for her this time in.

Closed off well over 2000m today at her 2nd run from a long spell.

Definately black book her for a restricted 2400m+ race over the winter.

Had a decent place bet on her yesterday. Hit the line really well to miss in a photo. Typical of my luck at the moment.

She should be winning R2 at Sandown today - 4th up fitness & getting to her preferred 2400m trip.

I too was surprised to see her leading.  She was fine in the heavy 10 two starts back when a narrow 4th behind Secret Palace at Mornington so I thought she’d handle it today.

But gave in pretty meekly, so I’ll find it hard to back her again next start.

if she was in a different stable/silks she'd be double the price at most of her starts.
Tend to agree, time for the barn.
