The Punters Club want me to provide a public record pf our tally for our group 1 investments, so here it is.

$200.00 win @ $8.50 Streets Of Avalon = $1700.00
$180.00 win @ $3.60 Crosshaven          =        0.00
$50 each way @ $6.50 + $2.10 Imaging=$   105.00

Outlay = $500.00                      Return = $1805.00                           Profit = $1305.00

BCD Group Sprint

1. Calsign Mav - 81. The run three back when just missing behind Melody Belle is good enough to win here.
2. Julius - 77. Not sure WFA is his go, but he showed good form to starts back behind Avantage. Top four hope for mine.
3. Gino Severini - 80. Forget last start. Out to the 1400m is okay but I still feel it might be too short. Will be getting home but not quick enough to win.
4. Mascarpone - 73. No chance.
5. New York Jazz - 72. Not sure he is well suited here.
6. Manrico
7. Avantage - 95. Clear top rater and she will take some beating.
8. Kiwi Ida - 77. Has always looked like a group 1 1400m horse but always falls short. Not a winning hope here but her best is good enough for a place.
9. Levante - 85. Is on the up and was unlucky the only defeat at the 1400m. Up in grade but her railway run showed she is best at 1400m. Danger.
10. It's Destiny Child - 77. Not here.
11. Travelling Light - 80. Better suited at 1600m+. Can finish off hard but will not win.

Rating

1. No.7 - 95
2. No.9 - 85
3. No.1 - 81
4. No.3 - 80
5. No.11-80
6. No.8 - 77
Add ins for any scratchings are No.2 & No.10
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.7 Avantage
Precedent: No.9 Levante

Summary: The two top raters are clearly the two to beat. Avantage is the current benchmark, while Levante could be the next star on the blocks. Going with Avantage due to Levante being a backmarker and having to give Avantage the start. Calsign Mav, Gino Severini and Kiwi Ida can place.

Punters Club Investments.

$350 win @ $2.25 No.7 Avantage
$154 Trifecta 7-9 / 1-3-7-8-9 / Field = 200%

Herbie Dyke Stakes

1. The Chosen One - 85. If he brings his spring fresh run, he can go close here. If it was a handicap and he was not giving Melody Belle the two kilos, he would be a winning hope. Good place chance!
2. Tiptronic - 79. Good win last time out but has always fallen short at group 1 level. Prefer him at 1600m.
3. Beauden - 70. Needs a career best and can not see that happening.
4. Deerfield - 75. Good run behind the queen in the Thorndon Mile but she meets him 4 kilos better here so a top four hope only.
5. Camino Rocosco - 75. Good run last start but this is too tough.
6. Charles Road - 75. His only hope is to go forward and make it a strong 2000m, but not for me.
7. On The Rocks - 75. Should be $1001.
8. Royal Performer - 70. Not here!
9. Melody Belle - 100. Obviously the one to beat!
10. Sinarahma - 84. Good run last week and should run well.

Ratings

1. No.9 - 100
2. No.1 - 85
3. No.10- 84
4. No.2 - 79
5. No.4 - 75
6. No.6 - 75
Add ins for any scratchings are No.7 & No.5
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.9 Melody Belle
Precedent: No.10 Sinahrama

Summary: Not much to say here. Melody Belle should rack up group 1 No.14, but I am very interested to see how The Chosen One returns. His win at Flemington fresh in the spring was sensational and he can win this if he reproduces that effort.

Punters Club Investments

$500 Place @ $1.80 No.1 The Chosen One

Lightning Stakes

1. Nature Strip - 85. Right up to winning this however he does seem to get better with racing the older he gets. Will not lead alone here and so I will take him on.
2. Bivouac - 90. Look I will probably regret this because he is the top rater, but I will be taking him on. If we were at 1200m he would be a good thing, but his form below that is not quite at that level. Too short for me here.
3. Elite Street - 75. Looks a nice type, but this is the very top level. The 1000m is ideal, but not sure he can beat all his opponents home.
4. Halvorsen - 79. Again not sure he is well suited here at WFA but he does go well down the straight and second up. I will not be surprised if he finishes top four!
5. Pippie - 87. Good mare fresh, loves the 1000m and only run down the straight was a good second to Tofane who was flying at the time. Looks a great chance.
6. Fabergino - 83. Last two wins have been very good and will be in it for a long way. The last 100m is the issue.
7. September Run - 85. Her only run at the 1000m was her debut, but she is a different horse now. She looks the stalker who can sit just behind the speed and finish late. 3yo fillies do not have a great record in this lately but she looks well placed.
8. Swats That - 83. Was just behind September Run last spring but she is improving. Can see her sitting just behind the speed and she will get her chance.

Ratings

1. No.2 - 90.
2. No.5 - 87
3. No.7 - 85
4. No.1 - 85
5. No.8 - 83
6. No.6 - 83
Add ins for any scratchings are No.4 & No.3
Recommended Bet: $30 win No.7 September Run
                              $20 win No.5 Pippie
Precedent: No.5 September Run

Summary: The two three year old fillies are right in this race. They should get the right run and be surging late. I think the two favourites are unders here but of course they can win. If we were at a course with a turn Pippie would be the top rater, but she should handle the straight and she can win!

Punters Club Investments

$200 to win @ $6.00 No.7 September Run
$200 to win @ $10.00 No.5 Pippie
$100 to place @ $3.50No.8 Swats That

Good luck to all investors!

Add ins for any scratchings are No.1 & No.5

Okay onto the days group 1's

Futurity Stakes

1. Behemoth - 100. Second up terrific, 1400m ideal, Caulfield check, and drawn to dictate the race. He will be tough to hold out!
2. Streets Of Avalon - 90. Should get a similar run to his last start. This field has a significant increase in depth but he will give a good sight once again.
3. Mr. Quickie - 80. Fresh at 1400m is ideal. Not sure he gets the race run to flash home and win, but he can run top four.
4. So Si Bon - 78. Has been found wanting at group 1 level before but he can run top five again.
5. Too Close The Sun - 74. Is capable of running well, but he can not win here.
6. Arcadia Queen - 85. She does improve off the fresh run, plus I think she is a genuine group 1 galloper at longer than 1400m. She will run well but not win.
7. Probabeel - 98. Has drawn awkwardly again, and I am not sure she can sit three wide without cover in this field and win. She is a high quality 1400m horse and she is the danger.
8. Ole Kirk - 80. Should get a drier track which will suit. Still I need to see him win against the older horses before I back him in a open WFA race.
9. Amish Boy - 69. Not good enough to win here.
10. Crosshaven - 82. Good fresh run, again he should sit forward and get his chance. Not sure he is good enough to win here, but can finish top four.

Ratings.

1. No.1 Behemoth - 100
2. No.7 Probabeel - 98
3. No.2 Streets Of Avalon - 90
4. No.6 Arcadia Queen - 85
5. No.10 Crosshaven - 82
6. No.8 Ole Kirk - 80
Add ins for any scratchings are No.3 & No.4

Recommended Bet: $30 win No.1 Behemoth
                             $20 win No.7 Probabeel
Precedent: No.1 Behemoth

Summary: This is a cracking edition of this race! With two gallopers near 100 in the ratings, it shows the quality at the pointy end of the field. Behemoth returned in good form in Adelaide and he is suited at the course and distance. Probabeel is a NZ superstar and she has an undeniable chance. Streets Of Avalon and Crosshaven get similar runs to last start and they can run well, but this class is up a notch. Arcadia Queen is as good as any of the horses in the race, but she will improve off this run. The 3yo's are okay and Ole Kirk will improve on a drier track, but for me he needs to win one against this class before I select him on top. Mr Quickie is good but being a back marker he will need the speed to be hot and luck getting through the field from the back.

Punters Club Betting

First Four: 1-7/1-2-3-7-8-10/Field/Field = $270 50%
$130 win @$3.20 No.1 Behemoth
$100 win @$3.60 No.7 Probabeel

Blue Diamond Stakes

1. General Beau - 86. Has drawn to get every hope. Jockey is on fire, and the only query I see is the hard run 1200m. One of the better hopes.
2. Ingratiating - 86. I can feel a Flying Spur BS run coming here. Before last week he was not running, but they have accepted. I know he got beaten by the fav easily two starts ago, but the 1200m should get him closer. Thought his win with full penalty last week was only just a win, but he has quality. Top four hope.
3. Finance Tycoon - 77. While I think the MM form is solid, this guy was beaten a fair way, I do not think he can win, but he has drawn better here and he can run top four.
4. Pegasi - 74. Good run last start behind a good colt, but he will need to improve to win this. not for me.
5. Anamoe - 84. Just got baulked changing direction when he flashed late to just miss last start. There is good sped here so even though he will get back, he should be able to get home hard late. The barrier is huge concern, but the 1200m will suit.
6. Abseiler - 74. Not a winning hope here.
7. Artorius - 78. Good win last start, but will need luck to win. Might be a place bet.
8. Jigsaw - 82. To my eye he has been looking for the 1200m. Drawn to get a lovely run and his jockey can produce a cracking ride on a double figured runner. Could be the forgotten horse.
9. Construct - 70. On his last run he should be $201.00.
10.Marine One - 75. Like last years winner I like him as a horse, but he has been clearly beaten by some opponents here at his last two. Maybe the move to 1200m and the full field with a strong speed can see him run on, but I have to have him a top four hope only. I will add him to my exotics and if somehow got to triple figures I could have something each way on him.
11. Hitotsu - 65. I am absolutely 100% certain this horse will not win this race. If he does I will admit Donald Trump was a good president Big smile
12. Dosh - 84. This filly has good form, however I am extremely worried about the 1200m. Has the speed to go forward and if she gets a few cheap sectionals mid race she can kick. The $13 is good enough to back her, especially for the place.
13. Enthaar - 90. The two negatives and they feed into each other are the 1200m and the wide barriers. If she had shown that 1200m was okay I could ignore the barrier but I can see her being made to work from the start and will she have enough petrol to keep going late. Clear top rater and she deserves to be fav, but I think $2.60 or $2.70 is the right price.
14. Arcaded - 82. Should get every hope from the inside however her form by my ratings is below General Beau and Anamoe.
15. Wolves - 78. Looks to be improving but might be more  Sires filly. If they go hard and the speed is overdone, she could finish top five.
16. Ginibi - 65. Will be doing well to finish top ten.

Ratings

1. No.13 Enthaar - 90.
2. No.1  General Beau - 86
3. No.2 Ingratiating - 86
4. No.5 Anamoe - 84
5. No.12 Dosh - 84
6. No.8 Jigsaw - 82
Add ins for any scratchings are No.14 & No.7
Recommended Bet: $30 win No.5 Anamoe
                              $10 each way No.8 Jigsaw
Precedent: No.13 Enthaar

Summary: Very intriguing race. While the barriers are not that vital from the 1200m, Enthaar will be tested out to 1200m. The Godolphin trio are all hopes but Anamoe looks the one who has been set for this race. Finance Tycoon comes through a good edition of the Magic Millions, but he will need to improve off that and the better barrier might give him the extra two or three lengths he needs. Jigsaw has been beaten in the lead ups, but to me he has been looking for the 1200m. Marine One, Artorius and Wolves have all been racing well, but they look more Sires types to me while Dosh looks the forgotten horse and at $13.00 she might be the value in the race.

Punters Club Bets.

$100 win  @$  9.00 No.5 Anamoe
$100 win  @$  6.50 No.1 General Beau
$60 win    @$13.00 No.12 Dosh
$60 win    @$11.00 No.2 Ingratiating
$100 place@$4.00 No.8 Jigsaw
$30 win + $50 place No.3 Finance Tycoon

Oakleigh Plate

1. Zoutori - 85. I have no doubt he has the class to win, but he is a straight track specialist and should be second up into the Newmarket after running last week. Can win but will need luck to win.
2. Dirty Work - 85. If the real one turns up he wins. The fresh run last spring is good enough to win here and his win in the Schillaci shows he runs well at the track.
3. Kemlpasa - 82. Might be a poorly weighted runner, but his form is good enough to win. The run behind Behemoth fresh is good enough to win here. I would prefer him at 1200m but he should get a nice run and can run well @$34.00.
4. Standout - 83. If he drawn better I would rate him higher, but first time at Caulfield, drawn wide and will have to sit wide. At $17.00 I have to have something on him, but my ratings say he is a top four hope.
5. Mizzy - 80. If it was the Mizzy of the spring 2019, I would give her a huge chance. She looks suited at the 1100m and her second up form is good, but reluctantly I have to take her on.
6. Ancestry - 85. I can see why he is favourite and why everyone is tipping him, but he does need to step up here. Weighted well, drawn well and will sit forward. Good chance.
7. Celebrity Queen - 85. This the one I am very interested in. Fresh at 1100m suits. Has drawn well, should be right behind the speed and she has 1400m form so you know she will be strong late. Looks good value @ $10.00.
8. Bold Star - 81. Good effort fresh, but his racing style is shocking for this race, unless there is a real bias to run-ons. Can finish hard for a top four hope.
9. Brooklyn Hustle - 84. Her spring WFA form is good enough for this, but again she is a back marker who needs luck. Like Bold Star she can finish hard to place.
10. Garner - 83. Again he is a horse who will need luck from mid field or back further.
11. How Womantic - 74. Not sure she is up to this class. Looks a mares grade sprinter to me so she can not win.
12. Prophet's Thumb - 77. Mets the opposition she beat last start worse at weights. Again to me she is more a mares sprint grade horse, and I know she won last start against all comers but that was once a a career.
13. Riding The Wave - 70. Again she is a mares grade sprinter!
14. Sword Of Mercy - 70. Now she is meeting the real carnival sprinters, she will need a career best. Not here.
15. Portland Sky - 86. Smart sprinter who was terribly ridden in Brisbane and then bounced back with a good strong win last start. Goes forward from a good draw, does not need to lead and he can sit right behind the speed and then kick to give a huge sight. Good chance.
16. Hanseatic - 81. He might be good enough, but of their meeting in the spring he can not beat Brooklyn Hustle home. Spring form was good with being outstanding and I can not see him winning.
17. Ranting - 83. I am not sure about this guy. His Blue Sapphire win has him a hope but it was a 3 horse field, and he took the whole straight to grab Anders. I will not be surprised to see him win, but for me I will take him on.
18. Anders - 84. If he had drawn well he would be higher rated, but from this start the barrier will not be why he does not win. If he brings the Rosebud performance he wins.

Ratings.

1. No.15 Portland Sky - 86
2. No.2 Dirty Work - 85
3. No.1 Zoutori - 85
4. No.6 Ancestry - 85
5. No.7 Celebrity Queen - 85
6. No.18 Anders - 84
Add ins for any scratchings are No.9 & No.4
Recommended Bet: $30 win No.15 Portland Sky
                              $10 win No.4 Standout
                              $10 win No.7 celebrity Queen
Precedent: No.6 Ancestry

Summary: Good strong edition of this race. Not sure the 3yo sprinters are up to winning but for me Portland Sky and Anders are the two to isolate. Love the Perth mare Celebrity Queen at 1100m. Brooklyn Hustle and Zoutori are good enough to win but they need luck. Kemalpasa and the Richards duo are good enough to win, but they need everything to go right while Ancestry is the listed group 3 Victorian sprinter who can become a group 1 winner. I love Standout as a horse, and I will have to have something on him at $17+, but the ratings have him getting a hard run and will need a career best effort to win. As usual it is a tough group 1 handicap so back your own judgement!

Punters Club Bets

$80 win @$10.00 No.2 Dirty Work
$80 win @$17.00 No.4 Standout
$80 win @$10.00 No.7 Celebrity Queen
$50 win @$18.00 No.9 Brooklyn Hustle
$100 win @$15.00 No.15 Portland Sky
$60 win @$9.00 No.18 Anders
$50 place No.3 Kemalpasa

Good luck to all investors!

This is a verbal preview of Blue Diamond Day racing.

I am sorry about the quality but I am hoping to get better quality production equipment in the next two months, which hopefully will improve the quality of the presentation.

Now for the group 1 previews.

Flemington

Australian Guineas

1. Ole Kirk - 80. Rates highly as he has run well at Flemington and over the 1600m. The drier the better for him, but he needs to improve significantly off his two runs this prep. Has run well backing up in the past but not won. If you like him then you can take the $8.00 but he will be a loser for me.
2. Tagaloa - 84. Have always wanted to see him out to the 1600m. However having said that I did back him in the Caulfield Guineas, and he was absolutely shocking. Not sure he is going any better now and although again he is a high rater and he meets all his last start opponents better at the weights, I will be taking him on.
3. Aysar - 78. Has drawn to sit forward and get every hope. Backed him in the Carbine Club in the spring over the course and distance and he could not get past Crosshaven. I think he can run well, but not a winner for me.
4. Cherry Tortoni - 80. Very good fresh. Loves the track and this looks a lovely race for him second up. The barrier is an absolute shocker and I suppose that is why we are getting the $13.00 but he is a good each way hope.
5. Dom To Shoot - 82. Loved his last 150m last start. Drawn better here to sit closer to the speed, and he will better suited out to the 1600m. Already a group 1 place getter at WFA and looks well placed. Another at double figures with an undeniable hope.
6. Lunar Fox - 72. Drawn to get a lovely run, but needs to improve significantly.
7. Grandslam - 78. If he had drawn better he would be higher rated. I think his only hope is to do what he did in the Caulfield Guineas and from the gate he could be the speed in the race. Looks a big price to me and have taken the $51.00 with a Sportsbet power play.
8. Poland - 83. Failed in the Caulfield Guineas, but he is the one who looks to have matured and improved from the spring. Good win fresh however that race has proven to be a poor form guide since. Drawn perfectly, will sit on the speed and I can see him giving a great sight.
9. Beltoro - 80. Of those who finished in the second group last start, he was the best. Not sure he has the quality to win here, but no surprise if he ran top five.
10. Embolism - 76. Comes through the lower levels, and he showed he is not up to the better 3yo's at this point last start. His 1600m runs have been below standard and he has not won in three runs at Flemington. Drawn poorly and will need a Oliver special.
11. It'sourtime - 76. Beaten by a good one last week, and his trainer can do the unorthodox but he needs to improve to even be a top four hope here.
12. Jet Propulsion - 78. Very confusing colt. His Stan Fox run is good enough to win here, and he was not far off Mounga in the Dulcify. If he had drawn better he could have been rated higher but at the $31.00 he might be a top four hope.
13. Cambourne - 78. Before his last run I thought he was a hope here, but that was a poor run. Can improve but not enough to win.
14. Ironedge - 72. Just out of maiden grade and way overpowered here.
15. Here To Shock - 75. Not a bad run last time out but more pressure here and not sure he is ready for the 1600m at this level.
16. Zou Dancer - 80. Good effort last time out and the 3yo fillies look up to the 3yo standard. Drawn okay, but this will be a totally different run race. Has a hope but need double figures to back here.
17. Lofty Star - 69. No chance.

Ratings

1. No.2 Tagaloa - 84
2. No.8 Poland - 83
3. No.5 Dom To Shoot - 82
4. No.4 Cherry Tortoni - 80.
5. No.16 Zou Dancer - 80
6. No.1 Ole Kirk - 80

Add ins for any scratchings are No.9 & No.12
Recommended Bet: $30 win No.8 Poland
$10 each way No.5 Dom To Shoot
Precedent: No.4 Cherry Tortoni

Summary: Very open race. The favs have the spring form, but not sure they are racing right at their top, so for me I will take the ones on the up. The race that Poland won at Caulfield has not been a great form reference since, however his form at the end of his last prep and that win, tell me he is maturing just at the right time to win here. The Perth galloper was good very late last start and he can go close here. Cherry Tortoni loves Flemington and he can go close while Jet Propulsion has form around some smart types from the spring and he was good when unsuited fresh. I am taking on the top four in the market, Ole Kirk to me has not improved from the spring, Tagaloa was good last start and drops in weight, but I am very wary of him at 1600m in a hard run mile and that is what we will get here while the filly was good last start, but it was a sit and sprint and she will get a totally different race shape here. Aysar needs to win one before I back him again.

Punters Club Bets

$150 win @$12.00 No.5 Dom To Shoot
$100 each way @$14.00 No.8 Poland
$50 each way @$31.00 No. 12 Jet Propulsion
$50 win @$13.00 No.4 Cherry Tortoni

Chipping Norton Stakes

1. Kolding - 85. Form is great, loves the 1600m and is a genuine group 1 WFA galloper. The problem is the wet track. The drier the better but the track will be similar to last start and there are better wet track gallopers in the race, especially at the mile. On ability he can win, but the track is vital for him.
2. Avilius - 80. Not quite as good as he was at his best, but he can run top four.
3. Southern France - 69. Not here!
4. Master Of Wine - 79. On his best he can win, but he is coming off a disappointing prep. He might be a autumn horse and his best is good enough to win here. Just a watch for me.
5. Prince Fawaz - 65. Not well suited here as he is a handicapper.
6. Verry Elleegant - 100. No chinks here. Loves the track, distance, wet surface, second up and was good fresh. The one to beat.
7. Collette - 100. Again no chinks here. 1600m looks right up her alley, loves Randwick, loves the wet, good fresh run and the thing with her is she will be in front of VE before the turn. Tough to hold out.
8. Funstar - 85. They need to use her early to win here. She needs to be in front of the other mares before the turn. Not sure she is as good as the two top raters, but she will not be far away.
9. Toffee Tongue - 79. Needs 2000m to be competitive at this level.

Ratings

1. No.6 Verry Ellegant - 100
2. No.7 Collette - 100
3. No.1 Kolding - 85
4. No.8 Funstar - 85
5. No.2 Avilius - 80
6. No.4 Master Of Wine - 79.

Add ins for any scracthings are No.9 & No.3
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.7 Collette
Precedent: No.6 Verry Elleegant

Summary: Race in two for me with Verry Elleegant and Collette looking the ones. I have gone with Collette on the condition I think she will be in front of VE before the turn. VE has an undeniable chance and the $2.60 is great value. If the track dries out then that brings Kolding in as a winning hope, but on wet he is just a place hope. Funstar can run well, but not win while Master Of Wine can be competitive if he can recapture his best.

Punters Club Bets

$300 win @$3.50 No.7 Collette
$200 win @$2.80 No.6 Verry Elleegant

Surround Stakes

1. Montefilia - 85. Best filly here, and 1400m fresh suits, however I do think she gets better after her fresh run. I think the $11 is the right price and she can win, but she will need luck in the big field.
2. Away Game - 78. She is a filly I would have loved to own, but I am still getting the feeling she is starting to feel her hard 12 months. Drawn shockingly, and I feel she is better at the 1200m than the 1400m. On her ability she is a hope, but I will take her on.
3. Dame Giselle - 78. I do not like her here at the 1400m. Fresh run was good but I prefer her at 1200m or less and she will go forward and dictate her own hopes. She did win at 1400m last spring, but this will be a totally different race. I think there are better hopes. I do concede that she loves wet tracks so that is in her favour.
4. Every Rose - 78. Stunned on her performance last start. If she can improve on her effort then she is a hope, but she will need to have improved.
5. Hungry Heart - 80. She will need to be a very good filly to win here. I was a little disappointed in her last 100m last start. If she has gained fitness on that effort then she can run top four but she will drop right out and have to come with one run late.
6. Forbidden Love - 89. This is the one who maps well here. The only query I have is the wet track. Now just stay with me here. She has won on heavy but a soft track is different to the heavy. For me the track condition is the only query. I am forgiving her MM run because it is a track where some horses handle it and some don't. Loves Randwick, will sit on the speed and her run in the Furious in the spring, when she was not racing as well as she is now, is good enough to be hard to hold out here. My main bet!
7. Never Talk - 83. That last run was awesome, especially the last 150m. Has drawn to get a lovely run midrace, the 1400m looks well within her grasp and she has shown that she can handle all track conditions. I am wary of this stable in group 1's, because they do not have a great record in group 1's, but she looks an undeniable chance.
8. Vangelic - 78. Fresh run was not great but she has ability. Will sit forward at the 1400m and she can keep going to finish top five.
9. La Mexicana - 82. She looks the fresh one on the scene. I can see her getting a nice run midfield. If the splits come she can surge late. Right in this.
10. Thermosphere - 78. I am just not sure she is up to beating the top 3yo fillies. Drawn to get a lovely run, but she will need a career best to win here.
11. Elizabeel - 83. Not sure about you, but I thought she was sensational fresh. The move to 1400m looks lovely, loves Randwick, and she looks like she is improving with every run. She meets Forbidden Love worse at the weights here from the Reginald Allen, but I think she is way overs at the $26.00.
12. Joviality - 76. She has form that is in the mix, but I will wait until she shows me she is near that spring form to tip her.
13. Phillizzy - 79. I might be clutching at straws here, but I thought she was closing well late last time out. She has drawn absolutely horrible for her as she has not early gate speed. If she can see clear room for the whole straight she can run well at huge odds.
14. Love Sensation - 70. Not here.
15. Miravale - 76. I am a huge fan of hers, but she needs 2000m just to warm up. Just see her this run.
16. Eight Diamonds - 71. Not for me!
17. Pippali - 68. Better placed elswhere.

Ratings

1. No.6 Forbidden Love - 89.
2. No.1 Montefilia - 85
3. No.11 Elizabeel - 83
4. No.7 Never Talk - 83
5. No.9 La Mexicana - 82
6. No.5 Hungry Heart - 80
Add ins for any scratchings are No.13 & No.2
Recommended Bet: $10 win No.6 Forbidden Love
                             $10 win No.7 Never Talk
                              $10 each way No.11 Elizabeel
                               $5 each way No.13 Phillizzy
Precedent: No.6 Forbidden Love

Summary: This is a very intriguing race with a good capacity field. Huge fan of Forbidden Love and just forgetting her last run, all her other form is good and she can bounce back here. From the Light Fingers I have Never Talk and Elizabeel as the best, with Phillizzy a good run as well, but she is a one dimensional galloper and needs huge luck. I prefer Dame Giselle as a sprinter and would rather see her in the Galaxy fresh, but she does have the talent to win. La Mexicana brings the Victorian form lines and she is good, but she is up to the 1400m for the first time, and I will stick with her. Montefilia is a very good filly and no surprise if she blows them away here.

Otaki Group 1 1600m.

1. Callsign Mav - 90. Good effort last time out but absolutely no match for Avantage. Maybe the 1600m might help but needs to have improved.
2. Deerfield - 77. Going well but the conditions here are against. Top four hope at best.
3. Shadows Cast - 75. Not here.
4. Avantage - 100. Looks the one to beat once again.
5. Travelling Light - 87. This could be the danger. Got run off her legs at the 1400m last time out but should be either leading or on speed here over the 1600m. She can challenge the favourite.
6. House Of Cartier - 80. Some of her Australian form fits, but not a winning chance here.
7. Imelda Mary - 72. Not a chance here.

Ratings

1. No.4 Avantage - 100
2. No.1 Callsign Mav - 90
3. No.5 Travelling Light - 87
4. No.6 House Of Cartier - 80
5. No.2 Deerfield - 77
6. No.3 Shadows Cast - 75
Add ins for any scratchings are No.7
Recommended Bet: $50 Place No.5 Travelling Light
Precedent: No.1 Callsign Mav

Summary: Looks a straight forward race. Avantage has proven to be better than these gallopers and she should win. The 1600m is better for some of the runners and I feel the one who will benefit will be Travelling Light. She can sit forward and put herself in the race and she should give a good sight. On her 3yo form she can win.

Punters Club Investment.

Please note I have told the Punters Club that there is no value in any runner here so we will not actually be having a bet.

For the record if there were three place dividends available I would of had the $500 the place on Travelling Light.
