Gee thats the Derby Oaks double in different comps but good work Rosscoe.  I bet you didn't think the first win would be in the Oaks.

It was an outstanding win Rosscoe.  She bulldozed them and had the hide to run strong to the line after leading.

I actually recommended this match to a crowd up here to buy!

I also contacted the trainer via email to purchase a small share! He corresponded by telling me she was sold. Still have the email!

Yes he's out of the Froth staying family and he is obviously throwing high speed stayers from his mares.  It's the Beneteau part I didn't expect to stay.  But obviously she just needs to go out and run them into the ground.

Redoutes and Encosta are milers who throw milers, so there is enough there imo.

For those interested ,, Messenger comments made by me to a crowd up here who interested in buying the filly before the January MM sales 2015 (they were the underbidders):-

"The more I've looked at the Beneteau/Supriym Story pedigree the more I like it!.I've taken it back 8 generations and there are some lovely line-breeding patterns there including the 8mx7f of Diableretta which "Supersay" possesses but a little closer! Go hard with this one!!!!! Dosage suggests more a miler type but could well sprint as well! It will be interesting to see if she's an earlycomer like ours! I hope Supersay is spelling well to date?"

Amazing to think she won the Oaks with the pedigree she has! I personally thought a mile, maybe a tad longer would be as far as she'd get!

My brother informed me that Lee Curtis thought Lasqueti Spirit was going to be a Golden Slipper runner!

Breeding can sometimes be a tricky game!

You just never know sometimes how they are going to turn out!!
