The insurrectionists now have to rely on an appeals court granting a stay pending further court action before tomorrow. Archives have said they will comply with the courts decision and turn over documents etc unless ordered not to by a higher court.

Aim is to get it to the Supreme Court who doesn't hold an emergency hearing sending it to the middle of next year hoping to get to the midterms next November where if Republicans win control they will simply dismantle the commission.

(CNN)The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, who also serves on the House Select Committee investigating the January 6 insurrection, said the committee will "move quickly" to refer Mark Meadows, Trump's former chief of staff at the White House, for criminal contempt for not cooperating with its investigation.

"We have been moving very quickly to make these decisions and I'm confident we'll move very quickly with respect to Mr. Meadows also," California Rep. Adam Schiff said Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press." "But when ultimately witnesses decide, as Meadows has, that they're not even going to bother showing up, that they have that much contempt for the law, then it pretty much forces our hand, and we'll move quickly."

SCOTUS is expected to hand down a ruling on Texas novel and bizarre abortion bill tomorrow. Hopefully sanity with temporarily prevail there, but they are dealing with a Trump court now.

Remember that guy who ran for President and proclaimed that he was very rich and didn't need anyone's money to be elected and in fact wouldn't draw a salary. Then he got the job and never stopped grifting and conning people out of their money, even having to return over $100m he conned out of sucker Trumpers?

Well, he is now begging the RNC for money to pay for his many, many criminal trials...and they are giving it to him, saying they will help him pay to defend political witch-hunts, even though the bills they just paid are for real estate fraud and tax fraud committed long before he was President..

This Manhattan case might be getting closer and his lawyer(he got a real one for this case) Ron Fischetti may have wanted to be paid up to date before going further, as is usual. The Donald has had to ask the RNC to pay the guy.
