This is the woman I told you earlier in the week who was a shoe-in to get di Natale's Senate seat. She is the same woman who wants Victoria's state name to change. That's enough to put 99% of the population off side, which in the long run will not be too bad as she will get to show how the Greens are not only a radical left party but are simply ratbags.

Irrelevant in this particular case.

Though I quite agree with Bob about the "consideration of a name change" nonsense.

Why would people say they are proud of their mother, but not their father, on the basis that one is aboriginal, but the other not ? It is a put-down based on race, when, as we used to hear from MLK, that it is the "content of their character" that counts, and nothing else, but these people are "proud" of a racial extraction, no mention made of the character of those ancestors. By any reckoning the argument, any argument, based on race, is odious, and yet these people are lauded !

I reckon any politician that fawns over these idiots, does so at their peril, the majority of people I speak to think it a disgrace that they were allowed to march and demonstrate under the COVID lock-down.

AA has hit the nail on the head . It’s time the “ quiet” indigenous people took the narrative back of these fools. It is embarrassing the way they are portrayed by the inner city people with a bad case of the “ noble savage” syndrome.

The inner city loud mouths are so far off track its not funny.   My friend says she just wishes they would shut up and go away and stop saying they are speaking for the majority, because they arnt.    She is 50% indig, and her husband is too, and they just cringe at what the loud mouth protestors are doing.  She says they are doing no favours what so ever for the indig.  And she also says she and hers dont need any favours as they all have jobs and work , because they have made the effort to have a go.

Lidia Thorpe, who will replace Richard Di Natalie as Greens Senator for Victoria, has backflipped on her personal values in order to take her seat and collect a $211,250 salary.
Thorpe, who has been a sharp critic of institutions including the monarchy, faced a hurdle to entering Federal Parliament.
Constitutional law experts, Professor Anne Twomey and Professor George Williams advised the Daily Mail that if Thorpe was unwilling to pledge allegiance to the Queen, she would be disqualified from sitting as a senator for Victoria.
However, Thorpe has now backflipped on her values and beliefs, saying she will pledge allegiance to Australia’s Head of State.

Few Labor supporters support the extreme left agenda of the Greens but they get their preferences so tolerate them. Just like Liberals with their rock-ape right appendage, the Nationals. Labor are silly enough to have a formal agreement though, so you will never see one of them pretending to be DPM.

PT, pointless reference. She is the nominated member for the Greens for the Senate, who two weeks ago sought out the possibility of Victoria having a name change.Further evidence the Greens are scrapping the bottom of the barrel.

Talent pool shallow in all parties. Sco Mo looks like a Ferrari in a field of Fords, but more like model-T's.

Looks like a Ferrari while pretending to be a Labor PM in a crisis.

See how his polls look when he reverts back to his normal Neo-Con.

Isn't the GG the head of state? That's what Tories are always saying, when it suits them.

Hard to believe but when Adam Bandt was interviewed on Sky News is to whether another BLM rally was organised in Melbourne during the current total lock down he would have no objection to the rally going ahead, because indigenous lives matter. If he is not a total nut case, Daniel Andrews is the leader of the Liberal party.

... exactly the same constituency as Chairman Dan ... the Labor/Greens Collusion looks like it will be on struggle street for a while!
In reference to every post in the Trump thread ... "There may have been a tiny bit of license taken there" ... Ok, Thanks for the "heads up" PT!

Andrews retains the trust of the state to lead it through the pandemic. Newspoll puts his approval ratings at 67 per cent, down from 75 per cent in the glory days of late April.

That’s still a respectable number when you consider Andrews’ general approval rating was 52 per cent before he led his party to the 2018 state election landslide that got voters thinking if this bloke was a bit too-talented for state politics.- July 4th SMH
