anything is better than three more years of what we just experienced.

Just hope Dutton is not the replacement opp leader.

They really need to find some talent that isn't corrupt or arrogant.

This acceptance speech is impressive. No trip-ups, very forceful, and articulate.

The bugger might end up being a good PM.

 Thumbs Up

Fun fact: Jen again wore her Carla Zampatti celebration dress on stage last night.

Carla Zampatti was the mother of Allegra Spender the teal Independent who rolled Dave Sharma in Wentworth.

Subliminal ''get me out of here'' plea from Jen?

I must have missed it. Quite possible as i took very little interest in the Election build up. So did Albo actually even discuss green-lighting the Uluru Statement in the campaign ? I mean it seemed to be front & centre of his acceptance speech - alongside his single mother & housing commission upbringing. Anyhow good news travels quick in remote Qld , NT - they will all be madly celebrating within a week or so. So pleased for them all - esp all the elitist indigenous groups.

Now we just have to wait & see when they recognise that financial black hole the LNP left them with & how they can reward Grace for all her successfully executed white anting........

And can we all chip in a few bob for Baghdad pls

I don't think "prominent" would be a fair description

Going to be hard to get the numbers with a referendum - I mean the ALP only got 32% of the vote - & two thirds of that came from people threatened with a fine if they didn't turn up.

And dont forget a chunk of the Independent primary vote came from Labor sacrificing votes in most teal seats to help get them over the line.

Funny how the ALP was delirious with "victory" last night'. Bit like Baghdad's Melbourne Cup example - outlay $24 backing the field -  back the winner - & get back $14.

Anyhow PT - congrats - you deserve it

Now put your helmet on - your going to need it

Add about 9.5% for the far right and the right of politics has some work to do.

nothing like aa disgruntled swinging voter, who fell off his swing...

It might be raining in Sydney, but it feels like pure sunshine.

I wonder how Sunny is, this morning? Her fellow WA's have pushed Albo's Army into a possible majority government.

That long lockdown in the west had an impact.

He has really highlighted his housing commission upbringing.
Truth be told, had he been born in the last decade, he would more likely have been homeless.

Let’s see what he does about this pressing issue.
