OK - its all ready to kick off tonight. My retirement party at my place. ALL TBV members invited (Rusty as well). Even a few Suspended members have said they will turn up (Whale is coming about 8 times).
Now here's the exciting bit - for the first time we will see "live" comment - so "Reality TBV" if you like. And it will be raging for at least 3 or 4 days - until we have all had enough. So when you get a break from the back slapping / fighting / laughing make sure to make a blog. So the details again for those who missed them ; Theme - Oneonesits Retirement Venue - Oneonesits Mansion overlooking Sydney Harbour at Kirribilli Dress - preferably clothed Time - tonight onwards for AT least a few days |

Would love to but have a prior commitment to my regular crochet circle group. We are doing double ended crochet tonight, or at least I think the double ended technique is at crochet. Anyway cant miss it.

Just got an e-mail from Softly saying she has organised a mini bus & will be happy to pick any "genuine" current or past members up on her way through. Very nice gesture i must say  . I did suggest a few planned random pick-up up venues would probably get most of those who want a lift - Salvo's Homeless Shelter Surrey Hills, Wynyard Park , outside Rosehill around 6pm

Max has said he will turn up on one condition - that i position a large comfortable chair in the corner of one of the numerous lounge areas with a wooden chair opposite. This will allow controlled access so he can pass on his life advice for those who make an appointment

Andicap is too busy making pens for the troops. Subby is booked to bus twenty backpackers around the Great Ocean Road. Dr E has an appointment with a fellow specialist...a proctologist. Grinners is in jail for starting false rumours about Gai's horses...and he's still in traction from the beating he got from four disgruntled bookies. I think someone sent false RSVP's. As for Browndog...who'd want to talk to that old grizzled mutt? He was more annoying than PT. I'm watching the footy. Collingwood, then Souths. I'm a masochist. Hope you all enjoy Scotty's hospitality.  |

Here we go - looks like we have a few early starters. Softy's mini bus has arrived - & I'm watching as the motley lot get there gear & wander up the manicured driveway. Looks as if they are in for a big night - Afross has half a case of beers & Second Chance has got the lemonade. Ooops - we hearly lost Rusty early - seemed to trip over one of his thongs. Back up now cursing - all good though

Big Al & Baghdad Bob have just pulled up in Bobs Hilman Gazelle - in magnificent condition considering its 50 years. There seems to be a bit of a tug-o-war over who is going to carry the Commodore 64 - Big Al wins out & puts it proudly on his shoulder. They immediately head off to the Punting room

For what its worth i went out earlier & stocked up on some items - want everyone to have a great time - regardless of how down & out they may be. Top shelf spirits, wine & beer. And a bucketful of Panadol & Nexium. The food is being catered & Shrunk has doubled up as guest & UBER EATS Delivery Driver. TJ has specifically asked if we can get his favourite dish - hot chips + tomato sauce. Nothings a problem of course
