Like the look of this 4yo lightly raced import by Fastnet Rock out of the Sadler’s Wells mare Modesta

Hes racked up 3 wins from his 5 starts so far overseas wining over the 1600m - 2000m and stretching it out to the 2400m

Looks to have plenty of range n ability this colt

BIG WATCH !!

Has reportedly stepped out in pretty good condition arriving off the float last month so shouldn’t need to much work to sharpen him up …

N although only winning a Class 5 over the mile - Class 4 over the 2000m and latest effort the King George HCP Class 2 over the 2400m a race Cross Counter finished 4th in the year he won the Cup

He looks VERY PROMISING and super keen to see how he shapes up this spring

Holds noms for both the Caulfield - Melb Cup  but I reckon this colt would love a gruelling 2000m race @ the Valley

Well Ada Hunter, we'll hopefully get to see this horse on the weekend at Flemington.

Entered for the Turnbull Stks.

Interesting he still holds entries for both the Golden Eagle & Melbourne Cuo!

Reckon he trials again in 2 weeks over 1200m, that is when I will judge him.

He is listed as status pending which is a worry.

I’d say you’re on the money Carioca, it’s likely they haven’t lodged his paperwork

That says Juddmonte part owned ??? could they be waiting for a second signature on transfer papers , I'm only guessing as to why it's " pending " .

Can he run 3200m? Because I smell Waller's lightweight Sydney Cup hope here

Very decent collect Tongue

I have to admit I was a little concerned when he had to drift right back through the field to get off heels

Shuffled back to last n only 300m to reel them in

Cracking debut n will only improve !!

Like I mentioned above I think he could win a Cox Plate

Possibly could stay 3200m Voyager I prefer him 2000 - 2400m range

Cause his 1600 run n both 2000m runs overseas were VERY GOOD !!

Beaten but not disgraced today, just failing to reel in the stablemate No Compromise.

Where to next for him?  I tend to agree with Ada Hunter on the 3200m comment.  Any chance he backs up in the Tancred next weekend?

Fantastic run on Saturday

Kept finding the line n a HUGE CHANCE in the Sydney Cup

Think he’s a better horse on top of the ground n hopefully we get a more level playing field up there ……. these bog tracks atm are really narrowing the gap between the good n not so good horses

N depending how he goes in the Cup I’d be targeting the Cox Plate - Melb Cup prep come the spring

Hard run 2000m right up alley imo !!
