Hi Lochwick.  Since the first time you posted in 2021, Capitalist came into his own.  His son Captivant's 2nd dam is by Blazing Sword, same as Rebel Bride.  Blazing Sword is by Marscay out of a mare by Lunchtime.  Capitalist's other son at stud Profiteer is out of a Snitzel mare (so, double Lunchtime through Snippets and Canny Lad), plus he has Vain further down his mare line.  Written By's two stakes winners are out of Snitzel and NASD mares, so they both will have Lunchtime plus Not a Single Doubt has Vain's sire Wilkes.

Based on that, I would give Written Tycoon sons a close look as your mare has the pedigree elements.  Which one would depend on location, physical, and of course your budget.  Written By is off to a decent start so far, and Captivant will have Kia Ora's support if you're looking for a commercial option.

Good luck!

Both excellent suggestions, though relatively expensive and a long haul to the Hunter.

Still believe Magnus would be a top alternative: a proven sire, and matches up marvelously giving you Mr P 4f x 3m, Vain 4f x 5m, Lunchtime 4 x 5 which goes so well with Vain 4m x 5f and Sibs Elated (dam of Vain) and Decree 5 x 5 x 6.

I feel that she could really produce something special if bred 'right"
are you are in tassie, hope so so cause i kept south of "the border" (nsw) She has none of the following in her pedigree
Danehill, Sadler's Wells,Danzig, 3 of the most influential lines either collectively or individually, in history (and their ancestors, in their pedigrees) Roberto,Nureyev,Halo etc etc has plenty Mr Prospector, so the options are many and varied
Mr P is like bread and butter with S'Wells , Danehill together or singley,so
Vancouver, no duplications in 4 gens, but brings in Danehill and Sadlers Wells, pedigree indicates to me plenty of speed  in pedigree with best appearing to be a the mile-1800 or so
The actual crosses Mr P-Danehill & Sadler's Wells, as per a pedigree printout, dishes up 2 g1 winners in Stay with Me & Trekking
Cornelian Bay is an insight into what danehill can bring to the party, as is
Rebel Factor, on Danzig
Whatever your choice, remember she is a group performed Mare. and as such deserves the best (performance wise etc) that you can afford, which with her performances, on the track and in the barn  as the bargaining chip, you never know what you could end up with as her mate, could spend all day on her, but that would be hogging the subject, good luck with her

Hi Take 2 , Thanks very much for your assessment of her , yes we are in Tassie but she will be heading back to the Hunter this season  so will need to be a NSW Stallion , we have a yearling full sister to Cornelian Bay so that will be exciting , hopefully she is successful on the track and can take over from her mum as a broodmare , our budget fee wise is 33 , Thanks again πŸ™‚

heading to the coast sales,Lochwick,  so will have another look sometime tomoro, and seeing shes going back to the hunter, will lift the sights accordingly
like i said she deserves the best chance you can afford, and with her performances as noted, you prob hold 2 aces, so a little hard work on the natter, and you could end up with the other 2 aces, incidently, I have found a SW with telesto as BM sire, and as i suggested above, Go Dreaming x Beautiful Crown -No Faking x Telesto won the 2016 Birthday Cup in Adelaide (Beautiful Crown = Danzig grandson)
Cheers

Hi Furious , I agree with you and Second Chance re Magnus , he matches up brilliantly on paper and a great Stallion but I’m sending her back to the Hunter so that rules him out , I actually had booked her in to Victor Ludorom at a very good fee but have changed my mind as I have decided to breed to sell and we know what will be thought of a cheapish European stallion at the yearling sales , he was the choice of the Darley noms man I was dealing with , he picked out 4 stallions on their roster that he thought matched well with her , Microphone and Victor in the Hunter and Earthlight and Ghaiyyath in Vic πŸ™‚

Problem there is that there are just 3 overseas stallions in the Top 30 stallions 2022.  And that's close to replicated in 2021. 2020....

Pay a lot for new NH-bred stallions and you risk obliteration if you breed to race.  Selling may be somewhat different if you can surf on the early hype, but on balance keep away imo.

in the Hunter,My best would be St Mark's Basilica, he's 44k, but with a good spanner you realistically could screw it down far enought to squeeze something to your fancy
With St Mark's you are bring an essentially turn of the century blooded mare screaming into century 21 with StMB bringing Siyouni-Danzig via Danehill, Roberto, plus Telesto's pedigree (top and bottom) along with Nijinsky ensures the tie-in
i am sure there will be plenty opinions where she goes
change is simply a destination on a journey reached by taking the first step (i said that) lol

Cheers Lochwick.

As for recommending "Microphone and Victor in the Hunter and Earthlight and Ghaiyyath" the Darley bloke is just trying to sell bookings and bullsh#t alike.  None of them do a whole lot for your mare imo.
