i spose the mare or stallion has bolted by now, however, imo the mare could do with some mr p and danehill as the pedigree is free of both of them there is plenty of stallions that pick up both and drag others influences along as well, needs further gives you a 3x4 northern d plus the mr p pulls in ciboulette duplication as well as having the full bros fairy king and sadlers wells also gives you the full siblings night shift and fanfreuleche, and needs further from a champion stallion producing female line, i love plenty of red in the pedigrees (female dups, as i firmly believe that its the mare that makes the stallion and not vice verce)
plenty of others out there similarly compatible

Hi Everybody, Thanks for all the suggestions, she was not ready last year (18) but was successful on her first cover this year to Al Maher Mike and Brodie Becker and their Team have been Fantastic the mare is looking amazing compared to the skin and bone, I purchased at the sale, the old rising plan of nutrition is hard to beat. Thanks once again to all that made suggestions but big shout to Second Chance, Glencore,Furious,Gay3,Goldey,Sister Dot and the German Connection Ticino and others for all the help. I will try to up load the photos later. I did go and look at National Defense, Phil at Sun Stud treated us epic but I was not comfortable with the physical mating, for me to small and square (the mating not the individuals). Glass Harmonium or Casino Prince next season unless I will Lotto and go south to Needs Further or Ribchester still love the match to Akeed Mofed so but can not afford. cheers all Have a safe and rewarding Christmas and New Years Stay Happy Baz (Old Flight)

Well the spring is glorious, green grass, birds chirping, stallions doing their collective thing. So in a happy place I ring the crew at the farm, Hey folks has that mare started waxing up yet? No not yet Baz, OK I say, get the Vet to stick his arm up her and check, no need she is not far away. lets just check i say, so she is not far away from being covered on spring heat. So somewhere along the way she has slipped it, thats horses, no fault of anybody or any one thing. She is clean and ready to go again but she may only have one or two left in her so this season will have to be spot on at all counts, Ill get her checked at 45, 60, 90, 120 days and will find a small place with few horses so as a consistent close look can be achieved. Hello drawing board are you there, Ciao For Now Old Flight

Mate that's so very disappointing for you and the mare.
Better luck this time around and make sure they keep the regumate up to her early.

The next 12 months are supposed to be good ones seasonwise on the east coast, so that should help most mares to both get in foal and to stay pregnant this year. Last year was dreadful. All the best, but the signs are better for this year so a new attempt is worth doing.
Casino Prince is looking good this year at a very reasonable price, especially if the Candy Man comes through.

Well here we go, mare looks a picture in foal at 15,30,45,60,90 days so what could possibly go wrong, before you answer, she was still in foal when she had a heart attack and just fell over in the paddock, not a hair out of place, so we closed her eyes, Ian the Vet did the autopsy heart attack. So a sad end for a truly lovely old girl, who was never given much of a chance.
RIP Tahitian Gem

Condolences to you, baz. You gave her a chance and best possible life. A horse only needs one person to truly care about them - good on you for being that one. At least she will RIP.

Well Dandesha has had a Fiorente Colt, we were booked to National Defense and were the next mornings cover when his accident happened. So sad for all involved so a quick decision had to be made and Fiorente it was, Kimberley Mine mentioned it in one post, so lucky the result was a slight improvement to the Husson from a few years ago (previous owners) These were at 6 weeks She was covered a couple of days ago by Earthlight so fingers crossed Cheers to everybody who took the time to comment along the journey, my mate who is the most amazing dreamer, has already stated 6 starts and into the SA Derby in May 2026, I told him if he has got to a track unscathed by them we would be lucky. Ciao For Now Baz |

Baz I like the Fiorente match with Dandesha, though patience would clearly be needed for you or whoever else races the colt. Of course Earthlight provides the same Darshaan cross but might put just a tad more speed into the foal. BOL mate! |
