Just looking at that 10 leg multi bet again - that's punting genius level. 7 of the 10 legs outsiders - of which only one lost.

You'd think the TAB would have taken pity on the poor bastard & at least given him a $5 Bonus Bet LOL

Billabong pro surfing contest in Hawaii started today, I
m tipping Aussie Jack Robinson to win it this year, John John Florence is the likely fav but I think Robbo will take it this year, he's overdue for a big WSL win in Hawaii.

Damn Robbo has to surf against John John Florence in his quarter final tomorrow, those are my two picks for the contest, but I'm backing Robbo to win, it's going to be hard seeing as how John John scored almost perfects 10's in two of his rides today to win the last heat of day, if Robbo wins his quarter final tomorrow he surely has the contest in the bag

It's a pity the waves are crap, yesterday it was pumping and they could have run the finals but chose not to, instead trying to milk it for another day, bad move imo.

ā€˜It’s special’: Aussie surfer Jack Robinson wins Pipeline, becomes World No. 1

Rising Aussie surfing star Jack Robinson has won the Pipeline Masters, claiming the biggest title of his career and the No. 1 ranking.

Rising Aussie surf star Jack Robinson declared he’s ā€œgetting his legs readyā€ for a world title push after seizing the fourth win of his young career at the Billabong Pro Pipeline in Hawaii.

Robinson, starting just his third season on the World Surf League Championship Tour, took down Italian Leonardo Fioravanti in the final in tricky conditions at the famed Banzai Pipeline to become the new World No. 1.

The 25-year-old West Australian’s win came after fellow Aussie Tyler Wright missed a last-gasp wave as the clock ticked down in the her final showdown with five-time world champion Carissa Moore to fall short of a season-opening victory.

Robinson seized the lead inside the last 10 minutes of his clash with Fioravanti, who was in his first WSL final, as both surfers struggled to find decent waves. The pair were in constant paddle battles in a bit to get priority, adding an extra element of intensity to the showdown between two rising stars.

An incomplete wave with three minutes to go from Robinson opened the door for his opponent who needed a 5.18 to take the lead. But as the clocked ticked down to zero in the 40-minute final, the Italian couldn’t find a suitable wave and Robinson celebrated his win.

Robinson said it was the perfect way to start his push for a world title, knowing it’s a long season ahead of him.

ā€œIt’s going to be a long road but I am just getting the legs ready to run that road,ā€ he said.

ā€œIt’s special, I dreamed of this for a long time.ā€

coming up today and tomorrow..

Arsenal at home to Brentford $1.44 that seems like free money to me.

Man United away to Leeds $1.90 also looks like a good bet.

Leicester at home to Tottenham $3.40 is outstanding odds and bet of the weekend imo as Leicester have found some form and look to be on the charge finally.

..also an interesting one, the following Sunday the 19th feb, Newcastle take on Liverpool at home $2.37 win or $3.40 the draw that seems very generous.
