Does it need to be a G1 sprinter to beat him? G2 will do.

So they are backing him up in the Australian Cup.

Will certainly test my theory he is a 100% fresh horse.

He will not show anything on Saturday.

The gelding is starting to pay off. If only they did it 2 years earlier.

No over the top celebration by Nolen, but the huge smile on his face as they passed the line said it all.

Well, the omen was Hogmanay getting up and winning.......If he could do it, then So Si Bon was a live chance of following his lead. Two peas......🙄

The sire So You Think strikes again
Australian racing is only good up to 1400m in terms of world standards when it comes to depth/quality in numbers

It was a good effort, but I actually thought the stables effort to get Seaburge to run fourth was even better. That horse has done absolutely nothing for over two years.

Again it's great they kept him going after things looked grim for a while.

Not quite the Extra Zero scenario (yet Smile ) but shows what perseverance can do ... and with a little help from the conditions this particular horse needs yesterday .... He's in the record books now ! .. Aurie's Star no less !! ... and fitting because he does move so well along that Flemington straight 1200m

(well done again Clap that was a most excellent result to see)

Gotta love So Si Bon.

Much maligned, but we need horses like this in our sport. The length of this thread is testament to that.

Hes raced at a high level season after season since he was a 3yo & here he is still doing his best as a 7yo winning the G3 Eclipse Stakes Clap

4th stakes (Group/Listed) win today for So Si Bon. Doesnt win often but did well to win today with the 60kg. Just got there with 50m to go.
