Winner absolutely brained them.
Not the same when he doesn’t get his own way in front.
He has been up a long time though, so might’ve had enough this prep.

I thought the writing was on the wall with his previous win. Nowhere near as impressive. Trained off I'd say.

I do not know enough to say yes or no kavg, but I do know he has found a very, very good field to test himself.

It is probably the best field of this field I have seen in 32 years!

He's Fine. Pretty impressive field though.

Traveled really well from barrier 17 (worked hard) to the 600 meter mark.
Jockey asked him to duck under Vega one towards the rail (top of straight) and he spat the bit. Shifted 8 wide before 5 back to the rail.

It was the first time he has had to pass a horse like that, especially clockwise.

LOL.

He lost the plot!

All the best to TBV member Dirt Race in the Darwin Cup today.

Your boy Savatoxl has been in brilliant form this campaign.  But running out a strong 2000m is going to be the big question mark.

The old warhorse Ihtsahymn will be hard to beat again this year.

Dirtrace also has Super Bryan going around in the Palmerston sprint, and suggests it could be a knockout chance.

I see Live and Free is now in Darwin. There must have been a clean out for the owner, because he was still capable of being a good money spinner in the astern states.

Good luck. Good to see him come south. As long as he's as good on grass he should go well with McEvoy.

1600 is apparently as far as he wants, and it's a searching 1600 at Balaklava.

But best of luck to connections.

DirtRace what happened to him in the Darwin Cup? I know he's suspect at 2000m, but even allowing that he was disappointing.
