Anyone give Yaphet a sneaky chance in the SA Derby?

Saw him closing very nicely behind Elzamee last Sat at Caulfield.  And trainer Cliff Brown used to target this race back in the 90’s before he went overseas. Seemed to win it every few years with the likes of Cheviot, Markham, Blue Murder

What happened at Devonport to cause the delay?  Race 2 run on time but rest of the program really late now.

There was a fall in the 2nd race.  Hope Georgie Catania is ok.

Issues surrounding the fall may be the reason for the delay.

Couple of late scratchings due to shortage of jockeys

Didn't he look like he couldn't get to the next fence quickly enough? Shocked Just loves the caper & unlike most Elvstroems, handles the heavy. Look out next GA as he looked like he could go another lap, having sprinted in the straight. What a clean winded horse Heart
