The old and the young.

Craig Williams has been riding superbly up north and wins three stakes races at Eagle Farm today including the Straddie.  

While 3 kilo claimer Reece Jones wins four at Royal Randwick today, but not to be outdone another 3 claimer in Jacob Opperman wins no less than five at Morphettville!

Another very brave horse gave his all in Adelaide today.
Lostarc clearly faltered 50m from the post whilst holding down 2nd but in trying so hard, broke down badly in a foreleg just shy of the post. This is one instance where I didn't rue my bad luck in having 1st/3rd in my quinella. I do hope he rehabs well as he's been a wonderful bread & butter horse Heart

Sad news Gay, unfortunately he couldn't be saved and had to be put to sleep.

LOSTARC (S. Fawke) – after passing the winning post knuckled, became very awkward in its action and was dismounted by its rider. A post-race veterinary examination revealed fractures to the near fore sesamoid bones. LOSTARC was humanely euthanased.

Stewards report on Toffee Tongue at Eagle Farm today, rider pulled pulled her out of the race at the 800 , hoof filler came away from the hoof , lame , for punters that's another way to do your hard earned.Ouch
