Russia is indeed advancing and taking back the Ukraine.
Hungary is being given the south west of Ukraine. Carpathian basin. America etc won't interfere. It will take only one day. Geographically being returned to its rightful owners. |

Can anyone tell me the last sanctions to be effective? No, no takers because they do not work. There will always be a nation or a group who want Russia's oil, gas or caviar  The US are the ones who started this. If they did not completely lie to Russia when the USSR broke up and say that they would not place missile launching equipment in former USSR nations, then we would not be here. The fact that they are negotiating and encouraging Ukraine to join NATO is a complete violation of the agreements made after the fall of the USSR, and it is the Ukraine nation which is in the gunsight, not the US. I feel for the people of Ukraine, but if they just ignored the US and aligned more with the western European nations, Russia would back off.

Maybe the people of the Ukraine dont want to be like Russia. Maybe they want a free and democratic country. Like America . ( Dunno who you would choose, between Vlad and Don, but,,,) The USSR fell so long ago its all old history. Life moves on and maybe the Ukraine wants to move on as well ?

The only thing stopping Russia completing Nord stream 2 gas pipeline into Germany, which the US senate has voted to remain under sanctions is a Biden order that it be allowed to continue. The pipeline was completed a couple of weeks ago. With Russia supplying 43% of Europe's gas that is a lot of leverage Biden holds over Putin.
