Fwiw have taken the $12 about Lake Forest.

As for Asfoora, does she go to the rail, down the centre, or to the outside?  Barriers and track bias nearly always come into play in her race.

It's going to be a firm track, I doubt there will be any bias.

She'll jump from the middle and stay straight down the middle. Half way through the race Oisin can dicide where the fastest horses are. I suspect that will be the far side and she will just tack on at the furlong.

I really like the look of Carl Spackler, Yulong and Mahers new horse from the USA. Big sold entire, Lope De Vega.
Never ran down a straight mile, so may not do much here, but cant wait for him to race over here

Well Mark Zahra wins the first giving Aussies a good start to the Carnival. Is the horse Docklands OTI owned as well? Looks like their colours.

Docklands wins the Queen Anne.
Maher"s horse ran ok.
Good start for Royal Ascot 2025.
If you want a second opinion, ask me again.

Yes. Ran here in the spring. Finished unplaced behind Via Sistina both times, including the Cox Plate.

Ballarat mare Asfoora faded late on her run for history overnight at Royal Ascot with last year’s King Charles III (1000m) winner coming in equal fifth in her defense of the title.

Ridden again by Oisin Murphy, who guided her to a famous success in the race 12 months ago, Asfoora made a similar run down the middle of the course to contend, before being overwhelmed late in the race.

Asfoora had been aiming to become the first internationally-trained horse to return and defend their group 1 crown from the Royal Ascot carnival

Trainer Henry Dwyer said the race did not quite work out for Asfoora, who was going into the race fresh after arriving in the UK later this year meaning she could not have a prep run as she did at Haydock last year.

Oisin [Murphy] was just of the opinion we got stuck on the wrong part of the track,” Dwyer explained after the race.

“Even though she loomed at the 150-metre mark like she had a fair chance, she probably just felt the pinch for having to do a fair bit to get into the race.”

Dwyer can look forward with some confidence to the remainder of Asfoora’s second European venture with runs in the UK and potentially Ireland France still to come.  “There’s not much for us at home so it will be Goodwood, York and beyond hopefully,” he said.

Satono Reve is a very interesting runner tonight in the Gp1 Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes. His last start was 2nd in Hong Kong behind Ka Ying Rising & before that won a Grade 1 in Japan. Last night they were betting 6/1 but he is now in to 7/2.
