This filly has her 2nd start today in R3 at Moe over 1600m.

Too short in the market to have a bet but look forward to seeing her step out.

Tasmanian fillies staying races are on next month.

$100k Stutt Stks (Listed) 2100m @ Elwick

$150k Tasmanian Oaks (Listed) 2100m @ Mowbray

She may well be capable of better wins down the track but nothing wrong with racking up a bit of Tassie black type on the way.

Resumes in the last at Geelong over 1521m.

Might be getting prepped for an Oaks race somewhere.....but not sure that’s possible with Qld & SA border restrictions?

Lovely win.

Shame she is unlikely to get to any Oaks races.

Had a minor setback.

The Australasian Oaks might be too close, however the QTC Oaks would appear a viable target.

Just catching up on Morphettville replays from Saturday.

Very nice finish from this filly running 3rd in the Laelia Stakes over 1600m.

Bring on the 2000m of the Australasian Oaks!

Super run in the Auraria Stakes 1800m today. Got a mile out her ground and was closing off the race very strongly.

I imagine she’ll go to the Australasian Oaks 2000m next, which will be a very tough race, but after that the SA Fillies Classic 2500m will be perfect for her.

Well the Australasian Oaks is well and truly on the agenda as suggested by Foxseal.

What element of her pedigree particularly attracted you to her Furious?

If they did not run today she'd be a winning chance in the 2000m Oaks.

On what basis do you make such a claim?

What the hell basis do you think I make that claim.

Watch her races.

They are training/campaigning her to be a plodder.

This fortnightly 200m incremental rise in distance crap is the very thing that is wrong with our distance racing.

I'll be sure to let the trainer know where you maintain he's going wrong.

I am amazed the main players in Australia can not see where they are going wrong.

It is there for all to see if only they open their eyes and observe what is going on on this magnificent planet.

Get your head out of the sand and observe.

I see she has missed a run in the "big one" on Saturday, unless there are scratchings.

So she needed to win one of those lead ups to get in.

Either way, she is now too dour for 2000m.

Really they were in the old catch 22 position once she failed to win 2 starts back.

She’s nominated for the 2100m 3yo race at Sandown on Saturday.

That might be a better lead into the 2500m SA Fillies Classic anyway.

Shaping as a seriously heavy track for the Oaks.

She'd love that.

All of a sudden 2000m will be a whole lot more of a stamina test.

Can they wait till scratchings on Saturday morning before committing to Sandown ?

With it likely to be a heavy track on Saturday they might have got mail of a few scratchings in Adelaide and took the gamble ?

If they did accept in Melbourne, how late could they leave it before committing to one or the other ?

For horses coming into melbourne they must be in the stable of the trainer looking after them by 9am the day before a race. I'm assuming it is something similar either way

Still needs 2 scratchings to make the Oaks field on Saturday.

Back up plan is a 2000m BM60 race at Murray Bridge on Weds.
