Yep it's just so difficult to make ground on these synthetic tracks, they really take speed out of the equation. I've got no idea how any jockey is willing to allow their mounts to get back in the run.

PMD, are you suggesting 2 rows of 6 across the track? They can't all be forward

So is it the kickback of sand that stops them from running on or the acutual lack of acceleration? Or both?

Anyone who can pick up the recent Tatura trials could you please let me know what the horse that ran 4th wearing winners in the trial won by King Dick , somehow I'm finding it difficult , ta .

If you don’t have access to videos replays there more then likely a Flemington trial which are all on you tube
