Yes TJ, wins today at Wyong over 1100m as an early 4yo.  Must have showed plenty or had growing pains for Waller to have stuck with him.

Ok Vivacious Award with Harry Coffey on board gets beaten by plenty, but why lead for the first time in its career?  On the fence naturally, which was totally off.  Needless to say Miss Daniel salutes.

Oh, and dad Austy Coffey's runner runs wide and bold before being beaten into 2nd place.  Hopefully nothing to see there.

Ok I only lost $20 but it just gives you the tom tits when knowing 500m into the race that you've got  Buckley's.

Vivacious Award Began awkwardly and made contact with Barmah Al. Performed below market expectations. Rider H Coffey reported that the mare raced keenly in the lead and in his opinion, this was detrimental to its chances today. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

Some more bad news, jockey wise:

Billy Egan’s flying start to the new season has come to abrupt halt with the popular jockey transported to Pakenham hospital on Friday evening with possible leg and arm fractures.

Egan, 32, fell heavily from Tagomago in the final of nine events at Pakenham and after he was attended to on course was transferred to hospital for x-rays.  The Victorian Jockeys Association reported that Egan had ‘’possible leg and arm fractures’’.

Egan had four rides at the opening group 1 meeting of the season at Caulfield on Saturday, including the mount aboard the ever-improving stayer Jimmy The Bear, prepared by one of his great supporters in Patrick Payne.

Egan has been in wonderful form this season and was currently second on the Victorian jockey’s premiership with 12 wins already in August.
