Hi everyone. Well I prefaced our tips with "G'day you lot. Could be a feast or a famine today" and that's just about how it turned out. Here's the outcome: 3 points: PB - shock, horror for the lad and surely his most inglorious performance with just the three 3rds on the day, so it's a most uncharacteristic hat for him this week.   5 points: Whale - a 2nd placing in the 1st race, naff-all for six events, whilst a winner in the last was a face-saving result for him. But okay that's enough for the famine bit and we get to the intermediate results, starting with on 13 points: RFF - a fair day for him with three winners including his special, a 2nd and a 3rd. 14 points: Second Chance - just a tad better on the scorecard at least with two winners including my special along with two 2nds and as many 3rds. 15 points: Vixen - how about no less than four winners for the gal with three 3rd pace finishes. 16 points: VSP - and yet another to find four winners, this time including her special together with three 3rds in a top performance. However we now get to the feast part of the afternoon because on 19 points: PT - would you believe had an unbeatable lead with three races to go and at the end of the day finished with five winners including his special plus three 3nds on the 8-race program! So it's congratulations to PT on his exceptional winning performance.  See you all next time. |
