Not sure if there is a thread for this years crop, if not, well this is the start, if there is I am sure gay3 or someone else will steer me in the right direction, sorry it's a facebook post, but I will get around to posting it correctly
this little fella is by Stockwell's Al Maher-from Dubai Diamond, by Al's partner on the roster Artie Schiller
The pedigree is well worth a look as it is rather special, will have some more Foal Spam in the next few weeks
The breeder is very happy, and to say excited, is a wee bit ubderstated, for, after missing the previous two years with a slip and a miss to Al, she has produced this cracker to Him, and even at a tad over a week old, he is giving Mum a workout keeping him under control

Thanks VSP.  Smile

A bit of a story really.  Was quite taken by the relative success rate of a particular country-based trainer who only took out a licence about 6 years ago, so looked up the stable website.  And there he was, full brother to a Gp 2 winner with clean X-rays and a Grade 1 scope available at a very attractive price: probably because for whatever reason he wasn't offered until the Inglis HTBA sale.  Late foal, not overly big, a bit immature, who knows?

Anyway, his trainer is Danielle Seib at Goulburn.

Hi BP, He's currently 2 weeks away from going back to Richie Cully after his first prep, very happy with his progress, still  intact dude, showing little interest in the Girls as yet, which is good, may see him towards the end of June.
He has a monicker now, Muthabara, which is Arabic for perseverence, a reference to His breeder, to us he is Aaron, ie Elvis Aaron Presley, making the trifecta for us with Excelleration Cosmic Enigma, "Illuminous" and Muthabara
We have another Al Maher 2yr old we call Vernon, just to keep em all in the family so to speak lol, he may strut his stuff as a 3yo as well

size was prob the reason we paid 2500 for her as a weaner, taken a while, and now shes about average size, and eats like the big horses do, lol, but like bart said "patience is the cheapest and most rarely used commodity in racing" or summink to that effect so who knows, about to find out. with Her 3x3 to Danehill She joins the likes of G1 winners Alizee, Astaire Overpass Prompt Response Soul Sister Subjectivist The Mission VERRY ELLEEGANT Wu Gok, and 41 other SW's with Danehill 3x3 on my DB, with i really hope a tiny tad of their abilites comes through, BTW, not too sure on the veracity of my numbers, but I have over 5,000 horses (2000 unnamed from sales i havent given names to yet) that have  Natalma 7 times in 8 including 170 G1 winners, and 800 Sw's

thats the excuse i used for her, early doors Furious re Danehill, AND his daddy Northern Dancer, who famously never sold because of his dimunitive size lol, when she started going to the track, everyone laughed at her, like the proverbial, the breaker used to say he was just getting his daughter's polo pony ready, but he was over 6 foot, so i spose she did look very odd, if it werent for the irons, his feet would probly drag on the ground.

SC from 6 Natalmas like she has in 6 generations i have 67 in total and 30 named, for 18 winners 7 sw and 3 G1'sm and 7 in 6 has 4 winners incl 1 SW from 10 appearances (7 named) so it appears not all doom and gloom duplicating danehill or Natalma  like many would have you believe

Fillies, entires or geldings, crikey I can't keep up.

The male appears of average height at best, not that means anything one way or another, and to my eye possesses a degree of substance.

BOL with him.

thx gaj, yep, like peas in a pod , all these young horses now on the ground bred to my take on the AK/V stuff, had my 1st horse 50 years ago, bush maiden was the benchmark for me, until elvis was first using the method, and became the flagship of it, which thus far has had 3 to race for 3 winners, the structure and bone has improved outa sight

This is Frankie, a 3yo Artie Schiller - Flavin x Dynaformer
He got Frankie, cos his Granma is Sylvester lady, German Oaks winner, (hey TICINO) and His dam Flavin, is named after Jennifer Flavin, who is Sly's missus, and Frank Stallone is Sly's Bro, these 3 lads, have been bred broadly along the Aga Khan and JJ  Vuillier philosophies
