The sky is the limit with this horse after another dominant win in Melbourne today.

Good call Shawy to start a new thread on this impressive young fellow.

Was there anything post race comments about what future plans are for him?

Hopefully he gets a chance this 2021 spring & isn’t mothballed by Lloyd for 2022!

Crocodile Rock ?

This one seems to have stunning cruising speed. Crocodile Rock looked good coming from a mile back didn't he ?

Can’t remember what happened to Croc Rock in the spring of 2017? Ran 2nd to Almandin at Flemington, then off the scene for a year - Was he injured? Or Lloyd mothballed him?

Owner Lloyd Williams says this years Melbourne Cup definitely isn’t on the agenda with impressive four year old Hosier. Will have one more run in August and then goes for a spell.

Good to see him in a scrap today up the straight & dig deep to beat the handy Tooradin.

Sounds like a pretty good plan to spell now & return in the autumn.

Interesting comment from Rob Hickmott in that the horse has been well placed by Lloyd & Nick. Just goes to show that they are actually the trainers and should be forced to take out a license like the rest of us.

Back as if unbeatable here in R1 at Flemington.

On paper should be too good but not a betting proposition.

I’d not expected to see him again until the autumn, seems rare to see Lloyd resume a horse at this time of year heading into summer.

He should be. I see silent sovereign as the only danger

So did both Deane Lester & Mark Hunter on radio this morning.

Poison odds but obviously something amiss for him to run that poorly.  Hopefully nothing serious as he look super promising last campaign.

Runs in the Coffs Harbour Gold Cup today.

Looking at Lloyd’s spring team, this is probably one of his few chances to win a ‘Cup’ race this year

Won well today at Coffs.  Looks like they get a really good crowd to that meeting.

I think Hosier is definitely good enough to consider running in a few lesser black type races in NSW like the Rowley Mile, Premiers Cup & Wyong Cup

Just sold for $100,000 on the latest Inglis Digital auction.

Not sure who the winner bidder was.

Mark Minervini

A welcome return to form, running 2nd in the Winter Challenge today at Rosehill.

Thought he might have been cooked after Lloyd flogged him off in an online auction.

But Mark Minervini has got him racing well.  Hope he & the new connections can make a profit in their investment in the horse.

Remiss of me to not comment on the great win by this horse in the weekend in the Premiers Cup.

Race was gang tackled by big yards like Walller & Neasham, so was awesome to see Mark Minervini’s horse take the prize.

Not sure how much further he can go in the spring, but very astute placement by Mark to get Hosier cherry ripe for these early season middle distance races.

That would have recouped a large chunk of the purchase price if not more.
