Be interesting to study the history and success of the Bob and Sandra Peters breeding.

Love to find all there stakes winners and the tap root mares.

I am guessing this so either correct me or bare with me

Tap root mares

Power Girl - Old Comrade,
Street Talk - Delicacy
Jewelled -
Lady Ashford

If anybody could list all the stakes winners that you know the Peters have raced it would be appreciated.

Does he get involved in owning stallions a lot?

I noticed a while back that he is a part owner in Vancouver now.

Random factoid, he LOVES More Than Ready's, keeps buying them, even after spending 800k on one that never raced.

He has shares in a number of stallions.

Pretty sure they include Big Brown, Vancouver, Pierro among others.

Has been at it for a while, dont know if he started before this but had the stallion Old Spice, also pieces of Second Empire, probably others in between.
Had the franchise for BMW, which i think he has sold, also for Mack Trucks[?].
Regularly sells off excess stock at the local all aged sales, in fact Delicacy was offered, but withdrawn, and her dam was sold for $4k. Delicacys  full brother, lot 140, is to be offered at the perth MM in February.
Has supported the local industry for years but hes obviously learned from mistakes, unlike others! and is reaping the rewards. Frrom what i can see, the only local stallion he is using is Blackfriars.
Has his own farm....you might say is a one man band and in complete control.

Is also using Adam Durrant, the leading WA trainer. Bob Peters is very good for your career! Adam has a wide clientele, whereas Bob would be Grant Williams major owner.

Missed the race but note she ran fourth at Bunbury.  Assume she sat back and charged home.

Interesting that they are selling a couple of fillies at Easter.  I don't remember them selling any fillies in the past, just the boys.

Hugely talented, by Redoute's with a female line going back not far to the marvelous Bravery.  Could be anything at stud.

I don't see all American breeding being the best match for her but then the best to who he considers the best may well work in his favour Confused

Imagine picking this one up for $2000. Happened today. If the new owner is who i think it is he is a canny operator. Would have been more than a handy broody for you sc.

Perhaps a potential problem breeder, who knows unless you were there. Would do your due diligence wouldnt you.
many a person has kicked them selves for not being in the right place at the right time.
And potentially a cheap way to pick up some nice breeding, frankly, from as master at the game.

there were a couple of meetings abandoned that she was due to run in.
Sadly she got the passive pike ride rather than the desperate to win ride

A now deceased, well respected trainer told me they'll never chip or breakdown in 'over' knees, having seen my newly acquired 8yo veteran handicapper of 80+ starts. We won the Avoca Cup with him giving Smokey Treloar about his 2nd winner, tho' he did fracture a pedal bone shortly after.
