The right action was taken here.
They tried tasers first The tasers failed So they had to shoot him dead. Correct training. Sad outcome, but correct action.

Now now R-E-D.......... They could have got a Psychologist to talk to him and explain that his tough childhood was to blame and if he promised to hand over the knife she would get it sharpened to help him cut the lovely tender T-bone she was going to cook him for dinner.

Is that the guy who was shot 10 times in the back after allegedly trying to enter a convenience store with a knife?
The lesson for today black kiddies is that it is bad to carry a knife into a store but perfectly fine for dopey big white dudes with tiny penises and bazookas to enter subway for a sandwich, so take your bazookas and AR-15s and grenades to the store next time.  |

I doubt that is an accurate account of matters, PT, he was obviously under the notice of police for a reason, maybe that will come out, what caused the police to confront him, other than he was noticed by them brandishing a knife, but clearly he ignored police directions to stop, whilst armed with the knife, and then force can be reasonably expected to be applied, they used the tasers, without effect, he he proceeded to open the door, and was shot. I'd say he will test positive for ICE, or similar. Such people can reasonably expect to meet deadly force. Innocent lives matter, police are charged with protecting them.

Remember the guy shot in the back while running in the Wendy's parking lot by police? They are facing murder charges. Sounds a bit like that French guy Levi shot dead on Bondi Beach a few years ago. Had an anxiety attack and was holding a knife so 6 or so surrounded him and blew him away.

He wasn't the only black man shot in the back by police while running on the weekend.
I dont know whether it was warranted or not, both incidents were filmed by body cameras so will all come out, including the alleged police calling racial slurs, but 10 shots in the back seems extreme though.
If Trump is wanting to stoke racial trouble to push his LAW AND ORDER fake agenda, this will definitely do it. |

Everyone in America knows their cops WILL shoot to kill. They are trained for it and they have the weapons. So, just obey their instructions or suffer the consequences. Its a no brainer. Better some knife carrying ice addict gone than innocent people sliced up so he can buy more ice.

Yes Macca. Be interesting to see what the autopsy reveals. PTs link say he was shot 11 times. Not sure where PT got the 10 in the back whilst the guy was running away from. Even the eye witness stated he was walking but we know what paints the more dramatic picture don’t we

Obviously drugs play a big part in these incidents. You can't tell me old George's behaviour, which effectively led to his death, wasn't largely the result of being under the influence. Immobilize yourself, or risk death. Even Peter Foster wanted to resist arrest. What is wrong with people?
