Octagonal in Russia

Hello,besides checking the peds of "Groupwinners" i like to look at peds of "Handicap Horses". Well, more often then not I got my fair share of surprises.

last Weekend there was the "Classic race" at Cologne, with a race Card of 12 races, most of them handicaps. The first race was low class handicap, a  3 year old filly ran the first time placed. her Name Zvezda Schastya by City Thunder (bred in ARG) bred by the "Malkinsk Stud" in Russia. Would you believe it, her 3rd dam Magnificent Bell is by none other than "Octagonal" (NZ)! Something you are simply flaggergasted, at which countries you see familiar names.

	Thanks Ticino. I see Magnificent Bell had winners in the UK (stakes-placed), Russia and Czechoslovakia.Haven't researched subsequent generations.
