Apparently has trained at that gym for a long time but obviously has more time to do so right now.

Rugby Australia could do worse than try sign him, he might make a good 13 or winger in their game.

Wrong code SC but as a proud Victorian it is understandable that you think the 2 Rugby codes are the same thing Wink

OK I have to admit that at the very second I clicked 'Post Reply' I realised what you meant with that  comment and managed to make myself look a bit silly, can I blame the copious amount of beers consumed in honor of an old mates 60th?

Thumbs Up

But be very careful lest the anti-posse blokes pull out their "on the pIss" responses when faced with assertive if entirely accurate posts from others.  Wink

West Tigers chairman Barry O’Farrell sacked amid board purge – and a wrong colour jersey

Former NSW premier Barry O’Farrell has been sacked as chairman of Wests Tigers in a purge of the board by the NRL club’s owners.

The joint venture has been plagued by dysfunction at boardroom level and the latest round of firings plunges it into more turmoil.

Wests Tigers’ majority owner Holman Barnes Group confirmed on Monday a removal notice had been issued to the club’s four independent directors – O’Farrell, Annabelle Williams, Charlie Viola and Michelle McDowell.

They were only appointed to the board at the start of the year as part of sweeping recommendations arising from an independent review.

But Holman Barnes chief executive Daniel Paton said the new structure had not proven effective and was marked by poor communication between the owners and the Tigers’ board.

Here we go again:

Barry O’Farrell, sacked Tigers directors make stunning return after NRL intervention

Wests Tigers majority owners Holman Barnes Group has agreed to an NRL demand that the independent directors – led by deposed chairman Barry O’Farrell – be returned to the club board just 10 days after they were sacked.

As revealed by this masthead on Wednesday night, the stunning shift in Tigers management will see former NSW premier O’Farrell reinstated as Tigers chairman for the third time.

O’Farrell, Annabelle Williams and Michelle McDowell are set to be returned to the club’s board as independent directors. However, sources speaking on the condition of anonymity to maintain confidentiality have indicated the fourth board member sacked, Charlie Viola, is unlikely to take up his seat again.

The NRL relayed its concerns over the Tigers governance to HBG throughout the week, while ARLC chairman Peter V’landys also met with the four sacked independents on Tuesday.

The final composition of the Tigers board will give HBG a majority representation should Viola not resume his position. HBG will have five representatives on the board and control over major decisions at the club, in line with their 90 per cent ownership stake.

You'd think with all these so called "superstars" leaving the Roosters to go to Rugby.....that they would have had a few Premiership rings around their neck before leaving.

To me....it only proves to me Roosters players are by nature.....very mercenary....which is why they end up their on "special" deals in the first place.....only to coming back to haunt them

Last few seasons its been all about their injuries blah, blah.....just so unlucky Ouch

This year it will be we lost half our players to Rugby....so we are rebuilding again LOL

No doubt Marble....but to be fair you were coming off a low base LOL

Now back to your mob. Reckon they will struggle their arse off.....the coach is a proven first up performer....& that's when it stops.......already overtraining then in the pre-season.

Payne wont be putting in....wont want to risk injury for the big pay day the following year.....& you'll need walking frames for a few of the others like Hunt

Good luck though....hope I'm wrong again....for your sake....only another 3 to equal the Panthers.....& the Roosters / Souths et al need 4 LOL
