There is a song Prince has called Shhh. Not his greatest song but when played live it comes alive and features some of the greatest guitar playing I've ever seen. Every performance of the song is different and unique in the guitar solo. The whole song features some good guitar playing and drumming but if you just want the solo fast forward to what I've marked as the beginning of the end and watch through to the end.
Poor vision from Coachella but great sound-solo starts at 4.40 Good vision and great sound-solo starts around 4.30

Yes, drumming is out of this world. he always sort out the best musicians for his bands. Cora, the female was only there for a year or two but John Blackwell was there on and off for over 10 years. He was extremely gifted, talented and highly regarded drummer and his story is tragic including losing his daughter to a pool drowning at the age of 2 or 3 and then dying of a brain tumour in 2017 at the age of 43.

Wow, that's a resounding NO from me about Yes.
 But that's why music's good - it hits us all in different ways for different reasons. Eg I love this song, and I haven't met anyone else who does. (Mainly that first Lawdy-lawd bit, just so good!) |

Just googled him. Sounds like a good life story. He liked horses and polo and wrote an autobiography that could be good reading. The "only guy who could replace Keith Moon." There were so many good musicians going round all over the place in the 60s/ 70s thst for those of us born later they seem to all get blended together as part of that "time."
