I love the “artwork”non many album covers and there was nothing better  than getting a new album, kicking back with the enclosed lyric sheet and listening to the complete album in order

My only regret in life is that I didn't become a rock star. Would be the biggest buzz ever playing to a huge audience - esp when they are "getting down & boogie" LOL

Yep CDs turned out to be the worst gimmick ever. You have to be an OCD type to keep them playable for more than a few years. One scratch and they're stuffed.

In fact I hated LPs so much that towards the end of my LP experience I would only play them the once necessary to record to cassette. Wink

 We used to have one of those record players you could stack 45's or LP's on the spindle, and they'd drop down, in turn.

 But if you had even a minor warp on the bottom one, it would mess up the whole lot.
