This is a very impressive Government we now have.

I will be surprised if it doesn't succeed , as a team in harmony.

There was some Shxt removed and others bailed out.

Very good to have the security of Borders , Financial sense and good recruits like Sharma joining the team.
An impressive senate will ensure good Government.

Being offered US Ambassador's job I heard maxie. Margie doesn't seem a Washington socialite type though.

Liberals to appoint a retired, right wing military person as GG? Wow what a change.  Dead

As for Tony, in Liberal circles he's privately known as Whelan The Wrecker.  Wrecked the Labor Govt, wrecked the Coalition Govt, tried to wreck his sister's same sex relationship, same re Hawke's legacy.

Not quite sure if he's right for Washington as he's cr@p golfer.

The Foley defeat was no surprise it must be said.  Both parties had baggage, only one would win the war of words.

ScoMo and Gladys have more than a few things in common imo, not least being their ability to get a questionable "message" across with great success.

I hope both Governments succeed, if for the Australian/NSW people alone.  Only time will tell.

As far as GG is concerned the present NSW Governor and former head of the Defence Force General David Hurley has already been announced as the next GG.

He takes up the position on June 28

That won’t work.
New guy gets a 5 year term, that will be up right in the middle of an ALP term in Government.

Alan Jones never wavered ...     NO ONE can win an election with a 45% renewables target.

He fought the fight ...   He got it more right than anyone on air and has every right to Brag ....        He is a TRUE star.

45% renewable target? I thought it was franking credits or Adani, or death taxes.

Zali Steggall ran on one single issue...climate change and flipped a 13% incumbent former PM.

How does the parrot explain that?

It’s explained by the fact that Abbott is a grub. The policies had nothing to do with it.
People had finally had enough of the way he was conducting himself

They were too busy in the kitchen preparing the hors d'oeuvres, or waiting in the car park to chauffeur them home.

As laughable as that may seem, to some, it is actually true.
So this is post of the week thus far.

Still getting over the last Labor government's spending spree.

Then 3 years of FAKE POLLS and everyone has been factoring in a Labor win and a recession.

Beware the "Economic Headwinds"!Cry
