It is not his idea alone. Both parties discussed it pre election and it is being studied by the new govt now.
Lot of options n the space so just got to get the right mix according to Chalmers.

Spuddy got off to a shocker just saying dumb stuff after claiming Spud 2.0 had arrived. Seems after a quiet week he might be looking to reset again with a less combative attitude till they find their line and length, agreeing with uncontroversial stuff and being a little more agreeable.

The problem will be the lack of moderating voices in the Liberal Party and the barking from the right media as well as party to find a lane in a far more complex mix now.

If Dutton ever gave a retrospective endorsement to the tireless work done by the late Mother Teresa, I reckon you blokes would still come down on him like a ton of bricks for some reason or another.

I just praised him Bobby, in moderating his rhetoric while finding the party's lane.

Yeah - just after you jumped on him after Marble gave him a bit of praise. Funny - Marbles comment was on the bottom of the page & as I read it i knew you would pull him up. Sure enough - top of next page

You really are incorrigible PT LOL

When Albo agreed with the govt on anything you called him out for chasing a small target strategy.

I at least gave Spud credit for trying to rein in his awfulness a bit.

poor analogy.
Mother Teresa had a foreign accent, and wore something on her head.
He’d have more likely refused her a visaWink

What is needed on TBV are members who are flexible in their thinking.

Both Bob & myself seem to get castigated for being that way

How long until he gets punted? What’s the over/under? Will he last longer than Brendon Nelson? All interesting questions with the answers to provide a few laughs for sure. LOL

The moderates dont have the numbers after losing 8 last month and the right are bereft of talent. They might be stuck with him a while.

The moderates haven't had any influence in the Coalition since Fraser. Unless you count Turnbull as a moderate, which I don't.

Fell across the new Erin show on SKYNEWS last night . Impressive. Followed the Daisy Cousins show in. Two ladies that may be the spark the LNP need. Rita as well. Sleeping giants maybe.

The monthly financial statement released by the Department of Finance on Friday shows the underlying budget deficit was $33.4 billion in May compared with the $60.5 billion that had been expected after 11 months of the 2021/22 financial year.

A deficit of $79.8 billion was forecast for the full year in the March budget.

One month in and halved the deficit as well as patching up all the relationships that flog Morrison screwed up. Clap
