Is this, along with the old Doomben 10000, the only such case in Australia?  Over to others.
SC, I can't find the weights anywhere, makes me think they are not out yet, that being the case these weak handicappers will let the computer tell them in due course what weight and penalties are applicable,2 weeks to the race they will probaly need another couple of days, they wouldn't get a job in my day, weights used to come out about 10 weeks prior.
for all big handicaps, about the same to my knowledge.

Wouldn't it be nice if connections knew 3 or 4 weeks ago what there horse
" would" get so they could plan ahead, let's wait for the pc to spit it out, it's a no brainer

With the downpour tonight looks like the mudlark will get conditions to suit when he resumes on Saturday.

Le Romain obviously the class and there's a few other swimmers such as The Monstar accepted but at $6.50 he looks a decent e/w bet.

Was firmly tongue in cheek mate

I got that one very wrong, both starting price and track conditions.

Our friends bred, reared and trained him. I remember discussing him with said owner whilst doing some committee duties and part of the chat went like this “if you bring $15,000 out to me u can have him”    Hubby didn’t follow up and he ended up going away to be trained in a new part ownership. And look what happened............sure didn’t see that coming! 😳😕

It’s interesting that Jungle Edge has had 6 different jockeys at each of his last 6 starts, and yet another different jock today in James Winks.

What’s happened to the great Kevin Forrester.....has he retired?

In reference to every post in the Trump thread ... "There may have been a tiny bit of license taken there" ... Ok, Thanks for the "heads up" PT!

Jungle Edge Weakened from the 350 metres. Post-race veterinary examination identified the presence of blood at both nostrils. Jungle Edge shall not without permission of the Stewards: (a) be trained, exercised or galloped on any racecourse for a period of two months thereafter; (b) start in any race for a period of three months, and then only after a satisfactory gallop of at least 1,000 metres in the presence of a Steward.

All body parts suffer wear & tear from continual training & racing, hence why 6wks minimum rests are needed.
