Wow.

Djebel will be over excited!

Hopefully it will go to a trainer in Oz that knows how to handle it.

Will go over my budget! Would love to get a small share but that may well be over my budget!

Wonder if he comes with the handler?
Can we start a comp, potential champs/stallion makers?

Seems like some knowledgeable people around here.
Any thoughts on this pedigree would be appreciated

Pompeii Court features heavily in the dam line. How’s that usually stack up?

No good asking my for type although I like him also.  I'm looking for ones with Kaoru Star blood for Castelveccio as in my younger days really loved Planet Ruler.

I settled on one out of Game of Fame to follow a $60K with Mathew Dunn.  Should like it wet with Stratum dam (Luskin Star/Kaoru Star dam), Quest for Fame 2nd dam and goes back to dam of Commands and Danewin one of the best female families around

PL the Pompeii Court duplication has effectively proved itself already given the number of black type performers in the family since the dupe was effected, so don't believe it's really an issue with this colt.  See his unraced 3/4 brother is with John O'Shea.

There seems to be a core of about a dozen buyers that dominate the top end of the market, as DLF pointed out,....the ''not for profits''  So God knows how they believe they'll achieve a positive ROI.......the prices beggar belief, they must just hope like hell they'll fluke a champion stallion?....is there any other explanation?.........or is it a TAX minimisation tactic?......Wink

Cheers, thanks for the response. I was actually thinking it was a positive.

I wonder if there is any successful nicks with Pompeii Courtnin Castlevechios pedigree
