As I said a few weeks ago - Humidor should be retired.
Your F50 aircraft is now ready for boarding.

He might be missing 240v like a few others?.......I remember him from his little country town in the NI of NZ......he was a lovely but naughty horse, what's happening to him is sad, it happens to so many, would love to know if he is to be repatriated to the green grass where he was born, not likely you think.

I'll just add to that by saying, maybe a two horse trainer with him and Bart heading to living legends? now that would be nice....and fitting.

I forgot to watch the Strickland Stks today but have watched the replay a few times.

Whilst Humidor didnt exactly flash home, his finish was solid enough to be beaten only a few lengths by some very good horses.

Personally Id be having a go at the Swan River Vase 2200m SW+P in a few weeks with him.

As I said last spring all his career runs in that 2200-2400m range have been very good.  He should be at peak fitness 4th up & the 2200m should be ideal.

If he flops in the Swan River Vase, yes agree retirement certainly beckons.

Sure he might not be winning a Cox Plate anytime soon, but he has plenty of decent racing left in him.

Still think Humidor is up to it? As I said a month or so ago...Humidor needs to be retired. He is cooked..he has had enough.

Yes he is still getting fitness
Listening to this trainer, he seems to think he can sort him out. So yes I am happy to trust his judgement because he actually not knows the horse, and doesn’t sit behind a keyboard all day

Racenet:

Meanwhile, it appears possible old stager Humidor may continue his racing career despite not running a place in three starts in Perth for Lindsay Smith.

A decision regarding the future of the horse who challenged Winx in the 2017 Cox Plate, finishing runner-up, is set to be finalised on Wednesday.

But Sokolski hinted the ownership group may decide to race on with the rising eight-year-old gelding.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything, it's too late to stop reading it.

Pity Sokolski doesn't look like retiring.
