Thanks GA.

Unsurprisingly the Jockey Club paid a lot of money for Deep Field yearlings at the recently completed MM sale.

The Gp1 Centenary Sprint Cup has been won by the Victor The Winner (5g Toronado x Noetic, by Cape Cross) who led all the way to defeat Lucky With You & Wellington.

Strange ride by Zac Purton on the odds-on favourite, Lucky Sweynesse.

The Gp1 Hong Kong Gold Cup over 2000m has been won by Romantic Warrior (6g Acclamation x Folk Melody, by Street Cry) narrowly defeating Voyage Bubble & Nimble Nimbus.

A great battle between the two all the way down the home straight!

I recently noticed that Voyage Bubble is the only Ausbred horse in the current Longines world rankings
My calcs suggest his earnings to date are USD 13,761,969 or AUD 21,038,204
His career record to date may be summarised as - Career Record: Starts 26: 11-7 (5xG1) -3-5;  Hong Kong: Starts 24: 11 (5xG1)-7-3-3 for HKD 107,472,475 (incl. High Achievement Bonus of HK$1,000,000 earned 29 Jan 2023; Triple Crown bonus of HK$ 10,000,000 earned 25 May 2025); UAE (Dubai): Starts 1: 0-0-0-1 for USD 0; Japan: Starts 1: 0-0-0-1 for JPY 0
In USD terms he is the fifth highest ausbred earner behind  Golden Sixty, Winx, Bella Nipotina and Nature Strip.  Redzel is sixth.

looked like a disappointing crowd at sha tin to see champions race

seems to me racing will only survive around the world so long as off track bettors dont turn to sports betting

2nd fav (and 2nd placer) has never before won nor to my knowledge even placed at Group level and was $28/1.95 on the tote.
3rd placegetter the same and was $41/2.35.

His rating should surely remain unchanged.
