Looks like a very timely acquisition (a shame he is not standing this year).

Hello,
as I noted immedialy, the above mentioned stallion prospect i9s from the wellknown German "Schwarzgold Family" and the direct damline of "Slip Anchor". I'm pretty sure, this Family is meanwhile introcuded in the Australian broodmare Population, even their descent are not so succesful as in Europe. His Sire Kodiac (Danehill) is a HB of "Invincible Spirit" He was not a great racehorse like his brother (4 wins, neither on Group- or Listed Level), but "making ground in the breeding shed". In Europe he is the sire of Best Solution (stands at the German Auenquelle Stud) won Caulfield Cup, Fairyland, Fox Champion, K Club, Tiggy Wiggy, Kessaar, Ardad etc. Interestingly a HB of 'Hello Youmzain' named Royal Youmzain, who is indeed by Youmzain (!), besides he is still racing in FR/GB won a few races or was placed in Germany, (winner Bavarian Classic, 3. Deutsches Derby/Gr. Preis v. Berlin, all Group 1; 2. Gr. Preis der Badischen Wirtschaft, Gr. Hansa Preis, all Group 2) regards, Ticino

The 7-a female line of Kodiac is that of Danzig and Bletchingly which had a time of their lives when Danehill reached Australia. Also the female line of Pride of Dubai. Trouble with this boy is it's like bringing coals to Newcastle. We have so much Danehill blood.
While the 16-c female line is that of Zabeel so can understand why this boy attracted Cambridge Studs radar. They are possibly hoping for a good connection with all those mare with Zabeel somewhere close up in their pedigree.
