Super win by this guy tonight over 2580m.

Only his 2nd run for John & Andrea Leek & they’ve recouped a large chunk of their $35k outlay already.  And John sounded confident in the post race interview that there’s more to come over staying trips.

Out to 3000m at Mornington today. has to carry 60kg which is a tough ask.
Just As Soon looks hard to beat (with 56kg) but this guy will go close.
Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing

Went really well in a hurdle trial yesterday at Traralgon.

Definately keeping my eye out to see when the Leeks enter him in a maiden hurdle.

Excellent hurdle debut at Pakenham today.  Perhaps we’ll see him again in the maiden hurdle at Ballarat on GN Stpl day, although the stable rarely venture west, so maybe he could jump a grade for the BM120 hurdle at Sandown on GN Hurdle day next month.

Why didn’t I follow through with my previous thoughts with a vet on this guy today - damn Confused

Anyway glad to see him break through for a win - should be a player in bigger races next year.

How good are the Leek family going recently.  Andrea winning today, but John Jnr has trained 4 winners from his last 4 starters!

Back to back wins now for this gelding.  Gee the Leeks have got him racing well.

Stable is flying at the moment - John & Andrea took a horse each to Coleraine and both winners!
