They need a Written Tycoon over there for the Gondolette female line.  He's got more Star Kingdom blood than any other sire in Australia and some of his sons take it even further.

so close but nice to see the Counterattacks are running well over there ticino.  He is such an Australasian product with Redoute's/Canny Lad/Bletchingly/Biscay on the sire side and Snippets/Lunchtime, Vain/Wilkes/ Alcimedes/Foxbridge etc.  All blood which has pretty much no lines overseas except for well back in the pedigree.  I guess you have the Danehill side which crosses so well with the Sadler's Wells line to work with and he is a 13 family and they love more 13, 1, 5 etc and all those are in the mare.

many thanks for your reply and pointing thze "Typical" Australian lines.
As you stated, the common ancesters are very far back in the European broodmares. On the other hand , Counterattack "adds" some new damline to the German broodmares he's mating.

If my memory don't fail me, Worden (French Sire) is a HB of "Wilkes".

Btw, Helios is from the same damline as my 'fourlegged namesake'

Works here also SC with Zabeel bringing in the Nureyev blood to cross to Sadler's Wells or one of his brothers.  Very potent cross.
