She is doing as well a relatively old 8 year Dialysis patient can do.

2 weeks ago she received her first kidney transplant "offer" (that's how they refer to it)

She is a very difficult match & lost a few years due to breast cancer (taken off list for 2 years - mandatory)

After 5 hours waiting in hospital for operation was informed the organ retrieval specialist had to reject kidney after physical inspection - in a hospital 5 hours away (very narrow arteries)

Extremely disappointing

Good news is that she is now right at top of list
