If your Just Folk, Impecunious, who would Be Good to Ya Mother, then be a Romancer, take off the Second slip and it'll be the Best of Days when you sail down the Buffalo River. Just don't get an Embolism being chased by an Elephant or Rhinoceros. 

Race 1. Not sure here but for the record I think the top two will be in the finish. No bet.

Race 2. The top three are the ones to beat here. Main bet No.3 Dexelation, save on No.2 Free Of Debt and No.1 Grandview Avenue.

Race 3 Crockett Stakes. The top two are the ones to beat. I will go with No.2 New York Baby and save on No.1 Robodira while No.8 Our Heidi is also a save bet.

Race 4 Red Anchor Stakes. This is a tough race. I like No.1 He's Exceptional here. His two runs at MV this prep have been good and he looks well placed. Dosh will race well back in grade and No.4 Generations, No.5 Athelric and No.8 Mornington Glory are hopes. Main bet No.1 He's Exceptional save on No.5 Athelric and No.8 Mornington Glory.

Race 5 Fillies Classic. I have it down to three in No.1 Vianello, No.3 Fortunate Kiss and No.7 Maracana. Main bet No.3 Fortunate Kiss, save on No.1 Vianello and No.7 Marcarana.

Race 6 Crystal mile. I like No.5 Elephant and No.6 Second Slip with No.8 Embolism the next best. Main bet No.5 Elephant, save on No.6 Second Slip and No.8 Embolism. 

Race 7 The Vase. If No.1 Forgot You does not win this then I give up. Two have to fill the placings and for me they are No.3 Jungle Magnate, No.8 Antonio Giovanni and No.11 Samarakand while No.14 Blackcomb is a chance but she does need to improve to win.

Race 8 Moonee Valley Cup. This is a good edition of this race and so lets see where we are. No.10 Pondus was terrific in the Bart Cummings and he will roll forward here and be tough to get past. No.12 Floating Artist was disappointing in the Coongy but maybe the step out to 2500m will suit better. No.7 Harpo Marx fits the Metropolitan runner profile. No.1 Sound can improve out to 2500m. Main bet No.10 Pondus save on No.12 Floating Artist and No.7 Harpo Marx.

Race 9 Cox Plate. I have switched several times here. I have narrowed it down to five hopes. No.5 Mo'unga is my top rater. His three runs have been great this time in and he will love stepping out to 2000m. I have the two mares No.6 Verry Elleegant and No.7 Probabeel the two dangers, but VE needs a wet track and Probabeel needs it bone dry. No.1 Zaaki can bounce back and go close while my ratings  have No.10 Captivant as the better chance from the youngsters. Main bet No.5 Mo'unga, save on either mare depending on the track condition and each way No.10 Captivant. 

Race 10 Tesio Stakes. This is a good little race. I have narrowed it down to four hopes, No.5 Magna Bella, No.6 Starelle, No.7 Only Words and No.9 Grace And Harmony. Main bet No.5 Magna Bella and save on No.6 Starelle and No.9 Grace And Harmony.
