It should be a close on.  Maybe Van Gogh by a short ear.

I feel that the main chances are St Mark's Basilica, Van Gogh, Derab, Policy of truth, Saiydabad, Normandy Bridge
Derab or Van Gogh to win
Normandy Bridge
Saiydabad
St Mark's Basilica
Policy Of Truth for the multi's
Tip of the year for the Race goes to Second Chance for his (in todays world very poor form) comment about Van Gogh winning by a short ear.(LOL) while most of us would probably agree,  I am sure Vincent would be very miffed and would probably seek litigation
Australia has an interest in the race in Inside glory, who is by the Aussie boy Sidestep, a Son of Exceed And Excel

Could (some) Australian blood to Europe be what German blood is to the rest of the world?
Sidestep has a runner in the French Derby tonight, and has won over 2100m (fr) not saying he can win this, but given that his best here was Kiamichi (slipper) begs the query?

Sidesteps damside is very much stamina. Think his mum and grandma were 2400m stakes winners.
