Please supply her name MrB as you've only given us 3/4 of her genetic makeup, not to mention any evidence available as to what the family has clicked with in the past Confused

There are at least 22 mares by Smart Missile out of Zabeel daughters -- from families as different as the mare lines that produced Rubiton, Volksraad, Fighting Sun, and Tycoon Lil.  That last bit is important!

Nothing wrong with the Churchill cover.  The Galileo/Danehill cross has been very successful.  Family of Triscay which has been a tad quiet in recent years.

But interesting to see the one by Haradasun perform when very few of his got to stakes level.  Could be Mr Prospector and Marscay mix is liked.  Marscay being the sire of Triscay.

Now earlier in the family is Oncidium winner of the Coronation Cup.  He is inbred to Gainsborough.  Now Gainsborough is the same family as Better Boy so interesting that La Baraka the stakeswinning daughter of Triscay is from that line and inbred to Star Kingdom with his Gainsborough sireline.

Oncidiums best son Dayana is inbred to Aurora (daughter of Hyperion) and his dam is inbred to  Selene dam of Hyperion.  This is the family of Sir Tristram so there is a liking for these families.  While Oncidium's best daughter Leilani is inbred to Malva dam of Blenheim who is the sireline of Oncidium, and once again Gainsborough.

So apart from the Gaileo/Sadler's Wells line.  You could look of stallions carrying alot of Star Kingdom/Hyperion/Gainsborough.  Marcay is a gimme.  So a stallion by Written Tycoon with his Marcay blood and lots of different lines of Star Kingdom, Better Boy etc etc.  His son's come in many ranges of prices.

You also have the Sir Tristram line usually through Lonhro.  So she shouldn't be too hard to mate.

She's the type of mare that's is entitled to be given every chance at stud.

Some stallions that appear to suit would imo include (not necessarily in any order) The Autumn Sun, Needs Further, Alpine Eagle, Pierata and Russian Revolution.

..they were likely looking to the Fastnet Rock/Galileo cross that has produced horses of the calibre of Leicester (G1), Unforgotten (G1), Age Of Fire (G1), Shock Action (G3), Intricately (G1), Mongolian Falcon (G2), etc.

Coolmore have Alluringly (3rd in Epsom Oaks) who is by Fastnet Rock and 2nd dam a full sister to Galileo and now being bred repeatedly to Galileo...

....so IMHO, Churchill over Protest is 'recommended'...

What fee range are you looking for?

It's almost impossible to go wrong with Al Maher.

Star Witness is a useful horse and his son Star Turn is off to a good start so far. --2nd on the 1st-season sires list by # of winners with 1 SW so far.  Starcraft is bred on a reverse cross to Zabeel: Nureyev over Round Table, where Sir T is out of a Round Table mare and Zabeel's dam is by Nureyev. Damascus is in there too via Pompeii Court and Red Ransom.  Interestingly, both father and son have a rare North American daughter line of Star Kingdom, and Star Turn has both the daughter line and a son line.  Star Witness has several stakes horses out of both Fastnet Rock and Zabeel mares.

As-yet unproven horses:

Highland Reel duplicates the Galileo/Fastnet Rock cross that Daraabah mentions, and his second dam is the Marscay mare Circles of Gold who produced Haradasun.  It's hard to fault his race record.  Not getting much attention in the sales ring.

Villermont looks interesting on paper for a breed-to-race horse.  His 2nd dam is a genetic sibling to Rosecay (Marzcay out of a Sir T mare).  Dehere and Zabeel combine beautifully, and I like the duplication of Damascus.  Spring Champion winner Maid of Heaven is by Smart Missile out of a Dehere mare, and Protest has a stakes-placed horse by Dehere under her 3rd dam.  This horse would probably want to run a mile.

Last of the unproven stallions, War Front also looks interesting on paper.  He has two crosses to Rubiano, a son of Fappiano who is present in Smart Missile, and that is a line that reeeeeeeally likes to be bred back to itself.  There's the line to Dehere and another line to Forli (that isn't from the Rough Shod family!).  His female family is one of the top families of this century in the USA and it's producing useful stallions.

Kimberly, why do you say War Front is unproven?

I beg to to differ. He stud fees in 2018, 2019 was US$250,000 which was amongst the highest in the world.
Since Coolmore took more of an interest with better mare servage he has really been quite outstanding IMO.
In particular in Australia through his son Declaration of War.

Regards.

That was supposed to be Omaha Beach, a son of War Front.  My brain clearly forgot the important bits of that sentence.

Good catch.

What's interesting here is that yet again breeding buffs clearly view potential matings from different viewpoints, and that frequently leads to a variation of suggestions.  Which is not to say any one is better or worse than another.

Some look for proven nicks or crosses, some for line-breeding per se, others might like to do any of these but also seek to provide more speed or stamina to the mating if they believe it to be important, and so on.

Sometimes the results are very different, whereas the stars sometimes sort of align such as with the Highland Reel suggestion.  And also from the (implied) but costly Capitalist match to the bargain basement Villermont.

Just hope the new owner, whoever he or she may be, doesn't waste this particular mare.
