   from Canberra Race Clubs Facebook, Canberra will become the only location on Australia's mainland Eastern Seaboard to offer Thoroughbred Racing on Good Friday (15 April 2022) 
After receiving overwhelming support from our members we are thrilled to provide the community with further opportunities to attend race meetings here in Canberra 

I see this has created quite a storm with racing participants feeling this is one of only two days a year they get off.

	Has created what ? Be interesting to see how many Sydney stables head down that way for the day. I expect staff are paid triple time ?
