Hi Paul.
What is your fascination with their height ?  Just curious .
If you search them on google/wikipeda , wont a lot of them say their height ?  Just like it does on a stallion page advertisement type of thing ?  I know here, stallions all have their height next to their name and d.o.b.
As to their cause of death ???  In many cases especially the older ones, good luck with that !
animals before people.

hello Acacia

So I've been a DB with stallions and it has alot of info ie average winning distant, age when they died some families tend to live longer than others, also d.o.b and best time to have a foal is Mar/Apr - alot of the great horse are late foals ... crazy as when you go to sales everyone wants early foal.
So height wasnt in until I had a Sea the Moon filly and then started thinking i should included this info.
So I've managed to get alot of info from old Bloodstock Breeders Review (lucky enough I have the complete set 1912 to 1981) alot with other stallion books ... Also Pedigreeonline and americanpedigrees but still missing alot and height isnt easy for alot of them -
Anyway I'll keep slogging away thanks for posting...
Going back to basics this year ie stallions that are no bigger than 16 and also ran alot
regards
Paul

Hi Ribot90, hard to tell with age, if true age is reached without intervention or environmental causes, early deaths occur by no fault of their own.
Height is interesting research too, seen a few small ones go very well.
Good luck with it, hope some old brains are still about to help you out.
