Wisdom has been chasing me but I've always outrun it!

Best of luck if you're having a punt on races at Warrnambool.  You'll surely need it.

Coffs Harbour Cup time, and I'm confused. The favourite Academy (3.50) looks well placed, beautifully weighted, good jockey and brings Sydney form to the north. La Pulga (13.00) drops back from the 2350 of the Grafton Cup where beaten 2.4 by Sixties Groove (a horse I have a lot of time for). The 30 day freshen up looks ideal. Lucky Jackson (25.00) interests me but I'm not sure why. Maybe I'm feeling a little sorry for the struggles trainer Munce is going through. Perhaps a boxed exacta, or a same race multi. I'll get back to you.

The dog has the tail between the legs and old mate Kavanagh pulls off a plunge to win the cup. Strange times indeed.
