I looked at Maschino for my mare Tahitian Gem if I went home to WA but work and the COV 19 has kept me in NSW and the Mare in Vic.
Thankfully SC has given me some option's in Vic to use so cheers again
SC also mentioned Micheal Flannery, I worked for Micheal on a horse farm back in the day in WA were he was Manager and the farm stood Marooned the superb but poorly managed son of Mill Reef. Micheal and Anne were very good to me and I now feel very old as I taught their daughter Sinead to drive. how to feel old. Confused
Micheal always had a great eye for a horse.

You are right, Grey Affair. Apologies and retraction. This old neophyte seems to be getting grey on the brain. He can only blame it on the midnight red. Knows what he was drinking but not what he was thinking. If thinking's the right word. Humble Pie! (Not a bad name for a horse?) Again apologies for causing confusion and giving scandal.Confused

I see Maschino's stud fee has increased to $6,600 this season, a 100% increase on his initial fee.

He only had a total of 49 live foals in his first four seasons at stud.  With four stakes-winners he has 8% stakes-winners to foals from those crops, and his stakes-winners to runners might well be around 12%.

Great to see such a well bred fellow succeed despite extremely limited opportunity over in WA.
